I've been a regular customer at this salon since I moved to the area few years ago. All the ladies are super flexible and very nice! I work late and need to do my mani pedis before I go away for the weekend, but they will stay after closing hours to do the job. I also love getting my pedis here since my favorite masseuse, Theresa (ask for her if you like getting massages) will give awesome foot massages, and puts me to sleep! They also renovated this place recently so it's a plus. They do get very busy at times, so I can see why the other reviewers were unhappy. One time, I had to come back and tell the ladies that my color didn't look right on my feet, and they redid my toes without charging me. I've been to many other salons in and outside the city, but I really don't think their prices are outrageous. I just paid about $45 (without tip) at a local salon in DE (this is the state that's known to be cheap with everything!). I am happy to recommend this place to my friends and other people.

These 5 stars are for Erica because she does everything so well! She's my favorite. I am always satisfied when she takes care of my services and I leave as a very happy person! The store is pretty clean and recently renovated. I've read some reviews about walk-ins not being tended to but I think that's because of the lack of staff in this store. I've been a frequent here for years to know that the boss is just never around and I know who the manager is but she really doesn't act like one. Therefore, the employees need to do everything on their own so it makes it hard for them. Erica especially, is the one who's helping everyone out and trying to make sure everything goes well all around but she can only do so much. Over all, getting beautified here can be a good experience if you call ahead and be a little patient.

I had a really good experience here - came in for leg and underarm wax, decided to get a pedicure as well. Everyone was extremely professional - the pedicure was very thorough (especially at the price) and included extensive cuticle work. The waxing took a fairly long time but got every last hair, didn't leave any sticky waxy residue, and included a short but pleasant leg massage.Whilst I was sitting under the toenail dryer the lady gave me the most amazing neck massage so I promptly shelled out another $10 for a ten-minute back massage, they angled the back massage chair so I could keep my nails under the dryer, and it was absolutely heavenly.I will definitely be back!

I was staying nearby and needed something close and, hopefully, reasonably priced. The concierge directed me to this little shop around the corner and it was exactly what I needed. Very small space, but well organized and they even offer chair massage. An obviously hurting female enjoyed a brief chair massage on her lunch hour while I was there and they even have hot stones. The manicurist did a terrific job salvaging one of my thumbnails that had broken into the quick, it looked perfect when she was done. All in all, I'd feel comfortable recommending this establishment.

Joey is hands down THE BEST colorist in NYC. He was the ONLY one willing to take on my unruly, frizzy, curly hair and made my hair beautiful and manageable! He welcomed the challenge and exceeded my expectations with flying colors. He tweaked my color until it was absolutely perfect, no matter how long it took and finished with a beautiful blowout. I make the trip to the upper east side now just to see him, he is the only one I will allow to touch my hair! I found my permanent colorist/hair stylist! :-)

I love this place. My nails have lasted over a week the few times I've been. It's new so all the equipment and the facility is clean and nice.Honestly, for the price, you can't beat it. And it's definitely better than Nailsmetic which is right down the street. I think if you're a local resident, try it out. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this place, unless you're someone that has a million problems with everything.

All the stylists and employees are professional and courteous. The salon is beautiful and not one of those huge impersonal NYC salons that we have all had to suffer with at one time or another. Joey is a wonderful stylist and always makes me feel special and welcome. I always leave happy and have recommended Joey and his whole staff of stylists to many of my friends and co-workers. I am on my way there after work today!

Well worth the money spent. As a walk in, I go here all the time before my photoshoots & my nails and toes look picture perfect when I leave. They are always very meticulous with my manicure as well as the french gel polish. You'll pay a little more here, but they do the job right and every time, never disappointed me (also the gel polish lasts longer than other places I've been to). And they take walk ins.

I called 10+ plumbers in the city and Ronan is the most responsive plumber with very reasonable prices. He shows up on time (very rare) and did a great job fixing the kitchen sink clogging as well as replacing an old garbage disposer with a new one. He took off his shoes before entering the apartment and cleans up before leaving. He was also very fun to chat with since he has lived in many countries

i love it here. i only come for mani, pedis and the ladies take their time and know you by name when you come as a regular. i started coming when my nails were in bad shape and i desperately needed a full set (gasp). cindy did my fill-ins and is lovely. now that i'm back to my regular manis, i'd recommend anyone.the price is right, the place is clean, the people are nice. it's all i need.
