    I have been a patron of years and the other reviews lack the knowledge of the wonderful new store and management. I have never had a complaint and I cannot imagine having one with this store.

    I ordered 4 bottles of expensive champagne to be delivered to Petrossian's main office to be packaged w/caviar and shipped to clients for the holidays.
    I was on the phone with them back and forth more than 3 times, making it VERY clear the delivery needed to go out ASAP. they promised they'd deliver next day and charged my card, faxed me a reciept, etc. This was on Tuesday.

    Not only did they not deliver on Wednesday, they didn't deliver AT ALL and failed to call me. When i called them Friday AM (only after finding out the bottles didn't get to Petrossian, because Petrossian called me), they told me i gave them the wrong address. OK, my mistake...i left out 1 number in the address. BUT it's friday---if the bottles were supposed to deliver Wednesday, how come no one had called to get the correct address, or let me know they couldn't find the place, etc. (True, the wrong address was given, but only by ONE number (should have been 419 West 13th, not 49 West 13th, honest mistake.)

    I guess im just used to a higher level of service. I mean, what kind of business takes money for a time sensitive delivery, then when they can't find the address, just dont do a thing about it. Awful Awful. They probably wanted to keep the money and hoped i'd just never find out the gift didn't get to the recipient.


    Needless to say, the 2 days made a huge difference. My 4 biggest clients of the year are gone until after the holidays and i lost my opportunity to get them a gift.
    BE WARY---if you've used this store, MAKE SURE your recipient gets the gift. Scary kind of business--i say find another liquor delivery store.....

  • WORST SERVICE in Manhattan

    I ordered a case of wine from this store's website. Two days later, they told me that they only had 4 bottles and did not know when they could deliver to my Manhattan location. They said they would call me back, but did not. Two days later, I called the store to find out when delivery could be made. I spoke to the owner, who was incredibly rude. He actually said that they were ""too busy"" to deal with an order this size, that he couldn't care less about my order because it was only for 4 bottles, and that he only cared about big orders.

    This store does not care about its repeat customers when the orders are ""too small,"" and does not honor its commitments. I have had several cases delivered from this store before, but never again.
