YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.
Deli Restaurants in New York, NY
1.Cranberry Gourmet Deli
115 W 45th St
We were looking for a place to eat lunch (not to mention use the restroom) and came across Cranberry Gourmet Deli. First off, I was very happy to see they have a public restroom. :) Secondly, the food choices are awesome!! There are so many options you could eat there everyday for a month and never have the same thing twice. There is a salad bar, pasta bar and Chinese food bar as well as soup, sandwiches and pizza. They even have many choices of coffee. I opted for the BLT with avocado and was so happy as it was so good. They have a huge seating area upstairs with a TV. You don't see alot of that in NY. If I lived near this place, I would be there everyday. Seriously, the choices were that great.

I loved the pastrami in this place. You do have to wait on line for a while but its worth the wait.

Take it from a real ""Jewish"" princess, this is the best deli in New York. I know what your going to say......and the usual suspects....forget about it. Their matzoh ball soup has NO RIVALS. The pastrami was just as good as Katz's, and at 25% cheaper. The french fries are to die for. And if you have room at the end, the cheesecake is the best. The prices so reasonable, and don't miss the lady in the front taking to go orders, she right out of central casting!!!!

I have been meaning to write this and am finally doing so! We ordered every recommendation from out server--from the lush red wine through the homemade pastry of baklavah, and it was delicious. This is rustic greek cooking in a very casual but cool setting. We ate every drop of the Greek salads, the cheese triangle, and the tzatzikik w/the delicious homemade pita...mmmm. To satisfy the vegetarian in our group, we ate the cheese pie next, and it did not disappoint. Going back for more!!

I went to this place twice while I was in New York City; once on a Saturday night and once on a Wednesday night. I didn't have to wait either of the times I went. The service was good, especially for a busy place in Times Square, and the food was wonderful. The first night I ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich that came served oven faced because it was too big to close. It was quite possibly the best chicken parmesan sandwich I've ever had. The second night we swung by for desert; I had the cheesecake with strawberries and almost managed to eat the whole thing. Service the second night was not as attentive as the first but it was nothing worth fussing over. Maxie's only supports and adds to my theory that it's almost impossible to find a bad meal in New York unless you're going out of your way to find something to complain about. I love it, and plan to go back many times.

Brunch means a relaxed meal with good people. The food should be exactly as you imaged in your mind and the service should be friendly and attentive. \r \r That is exactly what you get at this place. After trying to go the trendy route, I have confirmed for myself that nothing beats a classic.

Decided to stop here before concert at the Fillmore (right next door). The friendly waitress sat us down right next to the lead singer of Gogol Bordello (the band of the night), which was a great perk. Water was given to us immediately, and our waitress was very attentive when it came to ordering. My boyfriend had the Smoked Eel burger, and I had the Thai'd Pizza. Both were extremely tasty and were served in hearty portions. The Eel burger was served with beet fries that tasted like chips, as well as a delicious cucumber/seaweed salad. Overall, the experience was very pleasant, and the atmosphere was great for a place to chill and eat right before a concert.

This place totally rocks. The menu choices are healthy, numerous, and fresh. I come to NYC on business regularly and I will walk the 8 blocks from my hotel to get breakfast and even lunch whenever time allows. Yum!

Not sure what you can say bad about da Deli, and I may have been there 30 times over the last couple years. The location is sick, heart of soho, corner spot, open air in the summer time, great people watching, friendly staff, and solid consistent food. Not trying to break any records nor your pocket book. I always send anyone visiting NYC there for brunch, lunch or some mac n cheese from the adjacent macbar when they're walking around downtown. Never a complaint, only accolades. Very kid friendly place too. Just had the open faced meatball sando recently, which was tastee.

Best Reuben sandwich ever! A classic! Don't miss Bloom's on your next trip to Manhatten. It was the first place we ate on our first trip to New York, and it will be the last place we stop as we head out of town on our next trip to New York. Thanks Bloom's for a lovely trip.
21.Anitas Deli & Grocery

I love this place. It's not even a half block away from me and the sandwiches are all fantastic. I have a circuit of about 8 sammies that I rotate through, and they are all great. Corned beef, pastrami, chicken cutlet, to name a few. I get a Reuben on a roll routinely, and it never disappoints.

In the city where prohibitive prices could force a person to starve to death, this place is an absolute oasis. The soups, the challah, the tuna sandwich, and the coffee & dessert all hit the spot, and you can satisfy your appetite affordably. The staff is concerned, down to Earth, and pleasant. I am not sure why there are not more places like this in NY. There used to be a lot more dairy restaurants. This is one of the last of a (unfortunately) dying breed. 5 Stars!

Where else can you get a large soup with bread and fruit (varies - apple, orange, plum, etc) for $4.91 total? There are at least 15 different soups every day. They also offer combos with a half sandwich, though that selection is quite limited.
This place has gone through some serious changes from the past year. The food got better and the service is still good. I believe new management has come in and an asian lady at the cash register is the new boss. She is very nice and understands if you short a couple of cents and just lets it slide. I ordered catering from Broadway cafe and the food was delicious. The hot food and salad bar in the back tastes good as well. With four cashiers, the lines are pretty short. I recommend this place to anybody feeling hungry and wanting a quick bite to eat.
Love this place! They have organic produce, snacks, and products. You can even sit and eat there. I enjoy the friendly staff the really cool snack selection . Will be a regular customer.

After a tour at the WTC site and it's surroundings, I was looking for a good place to eat but didn't know exactly what I wanted. When I walked into Oliva's Gourmet, I fell in love! They had EVERYTHING that I had hoped for. This came as a bad choice in a way because at this point, I couldn't make up my mind. I couldn't resist the pizza. I picked out a pesto/tomato pizza to eat there. The man behind the counter heated it up for about 3 minutes in their brick oven. It was some of the best pizza I had ever had! I had paid $87.00 at a pizzeria (claiming to be the best in NYC) the night before and had OK pizza. The pizza at Oliva's with a drink cost a mere $5.75!!!!!! I loved this place! I will be back, for sure!!!

Tried the best cupcake in NYC circut. Although most were good none were outstanding or memorable. Then one day I walked past Mitchell Londens on 65th and eyeballed the cupcakes. By the look of them I had a feeling they were good. I purchased one and was blowen away. The cake was moist and flavorful, the iceing a perfect blend of quality ingridients and sweetness. Outstanding. No other cup cakes come close. I also tried the French Cruller which again the best I ever had. Looking forward to going back on my next city visit.

This is a neighborhood staple for me. I mostly order delivery but have been to the restaurant a bunch as well. I have two slight food obsessions and one would be guacamole. Theirs is the real deal. The mushroom burrito is my standard but everything I've ordered from there is just about perfect.
