24 Hour Liquor Stores in New York, NY
1.24 Hubert Wine
24 Hubert St
2.111 Lex Liquors Inc
111 Lexington Ave
It's really rare to find a place that does not charge an unreasonable premium for extraordinary service.111 Lex has extraordinarily fair prices and amazing service. Every part of the experience is exceptional. Whether you have 8 dollars or 80 dollars to spend, the staff is enthusiastic, attentive, and always knowledgeable. Kudos for making excellent wine available to everyone.
16 Avenue B
I never bother writing reviews for anything. But this wine store....is by far the best thing i could have wished for in this neighborhood. Ridiculously nice staff and amazingly selected wine. For someone who is a cheap lush like me, the fact that they have a great selection of 15 - 20 dollar wines that are actually really interesting and delicious is an amazing find in NY. May they live forever!
4.September Wines & Spirits
100 Stanton St
Liquor StoresWine Brokers
Choices made based on taste, quality of production, care for the land. Lots of info available and wines from places some may not be aware of. Great delivery people, too. If September Wines makes a recommendation, take it!
5.Warehouse Wines & Spirits
You will have a hard time finding a cheaper source of wine and liquor. On the other hand the help is not well informed, the supply is erratic and the isles are too narrow to navigate. But I shop here regularly and save a bundle. You have to find a wine you like and buy LOTS of it because the next time you go back it will likely not be there. Those who complain about poor service and bad manners don't understand that these are the small things you give up in exchange for saving money. How do you like the manners and service at COSTCO or WALLMART? Well Warehouse is cheaper. And anyway I have never found the serve staff to be ill mannered, just rushed and not well informed.

The ten under ten selection is one of the city's few real bargains. The only bad thing about Astor is that thye won't guarantee a delivery time, and get abraasive if you try to request one, even if you're call way in advance.

This is a fantastic store. They have a wide selection of wines from around the world at all different price points and the service is the best I have seen in any similar store throughout NYC

I used to live in this beautiful West Village neighborhood and this was my favorite loocal wine shop. Friendly service, nice selection, good prices. Too bad my new neighborhood doesn't have a shop like this!
9.54 Wine & Spirits
400 W 55th St
i love this place. the owners are knowledgeable and super-friendly, the wines and liquors are competitively priced, always clean and well-organized and it's a really inviting space. they also do delivery which is a great little bonus. so glad to have them in the neighborhood!!
10.East Village Wines & Liquors
183 Stanton St
The store has a great selection and in addition the prices are fantastic. The owner is Dominican and I don't think the 'gentrification' card is being played like the other poster suggested (just thought I'd add that). Anyhoo, East Village Wines delivers and they keep their stock up. Also, they have nice tastings and that's what makes a nice neighborhood wine shop.
11.The Greene Grape Downtown
55 Liberty St
I've been shopping at The Greene Grape since they opened a few years ago, and I have never been disappointed. They have a fantastic selection of wines from smaller, independent producers, most of which sell for $10-$20. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready with a great suggestion. They also have a small selection of liquor, and I have had great experiences with those, as well. This is a perfect stop for people who are budget conscious but not willing to sacrifice quality.
12.Landmark Wine & Spirit Inc
167 W 23rd St
I've been drinking mostly shochu recently. Finding a reliable source has been challenging. Landmark has one of the largest selections of sake and shochu in Manhattan. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly.

Great Customer Service. Excellent recommendations and they can get hard to find wines.
14.Casa Oliveira Wines & Liquors
98 7th Ave S
Visit our website
Casa oliveira is one of my favorite little wine shops in the west village. I usually look for good value, mid-range price wines ($10-20) and they have a great selection. The staff is really helpful and knowledgeable, and they have the best hours of any store in the area (open to midnight every day except sunday - great for a last minute run late on a friday night). They also have a good range of mid-to-high quality liquor and champagne. The location is convenient as well, just a block from the christopher st stop on the 1. Would recommend to anyone in the neighborhood.
15.West Street Wine & Spirits
56 Rector St
Beautiful space and huge selection. The owner is SO helpful and will accomodate any requests. I am happy to give my business to this very worthy establishment that is still trying to recover from 9-11.
16.Alphabet City Wine Co
100 Avenue C
Alphabet City Wine Co. is a really unique shop with amazing wines. Stop by here and grab a drink and take a stroll through St. Marks or even a nice walk through the Village. One of the many things this city gives us. Alphabet City is a very chill wine spot with a wide array of wines for any occasion. They have wines of all prices to very cheap to expensive ones. Alphabet City Wine Co. is a great shop for the local shops and New Yorkers.
17.Bottlerocket Wine & Spirit
5 W 19th St
So, this is my very first CitySearch review. BottleRocket was so great, that it inspired me to actually start an account so that I could share my experience with everyone! My husband & I are starting to really get into wine, and we just happened to see BottleRocket and go inside. The staff was friendly and helpful, but not too helpful. They are always close enough to ask a question, but never so close that we felt that we were being watched. The different ""stations"" really help to differentiate each wine by cuisine and region. Not every Red wine goes well with baby back ribs, but the informative & colorful stations let you know which ones do! If a particular wine has been written about or reviewed in a periodical, they have it in plain sight! We left with a Rose and with a Pinot Grigio and didn't spend over $30! Great place. Great Atmosphere. Cannot wait to go back!
18.World Wine & Spirits
705 2nd Ave
I always go to World.. the service is the best, the prices even better, and they always have really interesting wines that aren't available everywhere. Great selection of Pinot Noirs from Oregon, and great selection of Italian Amarone and Brunellos for high end selections. The best in the area.
19.Chelsea Wine Cellar Inc
200 W 21st St Frnt 1
I'm amazed at how many brands and varietals they're able to pack into that store. They tend to have even the most obscure finds. Can't remember how many times I approached the staff there and bungled the name of the bottle I had at a restaurant - they quickly complete the name and find it. Did I mention the selection?
20.Winfield-Flynn LTD Fine Wines
558 3rd Ave
Wow, an old fashioned retailer in NYC ! They are open to 10PM and later on the weekends\r They deliver for free and they have wine tastings on the weekends.\r They have a very large selection of wines both name brands and their personal handpicked selections.\r The staff is young and vibrant. One saleslady suggested a lovely wine for under $15.00 and she was right on the money. Yes, they have some very expensive items, but I think the majority is very popular priced and the sales clerks seem to know their stuff. They had a wondeful rose for about $13 that was yummy.\r It is a very busy store, so I assume the wines don't get stale and dusty on the shelf.\r \r And they hand out free doggie biscuits. A good reason toget a puppy!
21.Downtown Liquor Store
90 Hudson St
This store is great! The staff is helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. There is a wide selection of wines and the delivery service is the best. They also sell lotto tickets.
22.Schumer's Wine & Liquors
59 E 54th St
I am truly surprised to have read the 6/25/08 review above. My experience couldn't be more different. I shop at Schumer's in person occasionally, and sometimes I make orders for delivery over the phone. Since the first day I walked in there, I have never had to tell them my name. They know what kind of wine I like. They have frequently made recommendations that have been consistently wonderful. The staff on the telephone also know me, even though I call maybe once or twice a month. When I come home from work, the wine is always there and always good. Prices are lower than any other wine store in the area that I know of, and if you want something special, they can get it for you. Schumer's is a wine store staffed and operated by people who know and love wine. I highly recommend them.

Great selection, equally wonderful service. The staff is unconcerned with the amount of money you plan to spend, and it IS possible not to spend a lot, and still get their great advice. Great variety, great price selection, great location...
24.Beacon Wines & Spirits
Just moved in, new to the area... went in to Beacon Wines and had a great experience. I was having Thai food for dinner and Tom at Beacon was a great help in selecting the perfect wine at a great price!\r\n\r\nThey have a great selection of wines and spirits and a very helpfull staff.\r\n\r\nThanks
25.Soho Wines & Spirits
461 W Broadway
I've bought my wines from here for decades.\r\nThe owners (2 brothers) learned their stuff from their father who owned another store in the neighborhood. \r\nI've discovered different and new wines, they always can tell me what the wine is like and what food pairings
26.California Wine Merchants
15 Bridge St
California Wine Merchants is located in the heart of Manhattan's Financial District and is the only wine store in New York City that specializes in wines from California. Stop on by and check out our free in-store wine tasting every Friday from 5:00 to 7:30PM!
27.Seward Park Liquors Inc
393 Grand St
Last week I met my friend for lunch at Noah's Ark Deli, which we happen to find out was BYOB. We decided to go next door to this wine shop we saw on the way in, to check if they had any good Kosher wines, and did they ever!! Not only do they have a great selection of Kosher wines and other liquors, their staff was very helpful, showing us which wines were Mevushal, so we could bring them next door. I'm planning to do all my wine Holiday shopping right at this store.
28.Spirits of Carmine
52 Carmine St
Walked in for one bottle wine and received excellet customer service which made me come back for more. Would recommed this store as there was no pressure to buy and the staff are always so cheerful.
