WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE!! The worst experience I have ever had with a business. Just moved to the area and I needed a dry cleaner so I thought I would try them out. I took a duvet comforter and some clothing items. The duvet that was supposed to be done wasn't as promised and when I called their "plant" they hadn't even started it a week later. Then I took my clothes out Andy jacket a d shawl were ruined. The items were pilly and the jacket was still full of dog hair. It looked as if the machines they used were destructive.Then I went to talk with the owner and when I said my new shawl was ruined he told me I was a liar and that it wasn't new. I have no respect for this business, and they obviously are inept at what they do and are horrible at customer service. The one lady at the counter was nice, but that's the only good thing about the place. Save yourself a headache, $$, and damaged garmets. Do not go here, trust me!
First off I use Dry Cleaning 1-2 times a week for dress shirts and suits. I was going to a Dry Cleaner in Lake Mary, which I love and now have returned, which is located by the office, but since I live in New Smyrna I decided to give Foley's a chance. Well after just 3 times cleaning 6 dress shirts each visit ,they destroyed 2 of my dress shirts. When I initially picked them up there was no mention of the stains around the collars and seems of the 2 shirts. Once home I noticed the damage. I returned and the lady acted surprised ( did they not notice the damage when wrapping them up? ) and said the damage was from my body oil??? Around the outside seems of my shirts?? No other shirts were damaged? This made no sense especially as I wear T-Shirts underneath and have NEVER had this issue. They said they would clean them again at no charge. I stopped by to pick these 2 shirts up a few days later - the stains were worse. The lady then said I will need to check with my manager and she will call you by the end of day. 3 days later - NO CALL ! Surprise. So I stop in and get the " Manager is not here routine" I say pick up the phone and call them! The lady behind the counter does this and comes back and says " Sorry, we are not going to do anything for you , because your shirts look worn!!" Bottom line going To Foley's is being a FOOL ! The management does not have the professionalism or guts to call a customer back, or sense to make a situation right and they some how feel that 2 dress shirts are worth loosing a customer who is in several times a month.?? Business 101 is make the customer happy and stand behind your product. Not to mention that they have only one level of starching, it takes several days to get your clothes back and I never felt the shirts were actually cleaned as well as other places have done in the past. So now they lost a customer and my mission now is to continue to pass the word around town warning others not be FOOLED by Foley ! I will be registering the complaint with the BBB as well.Kris K.
