University Of New Orleans-Lakefront
I initially attended UNO 1979-1980 to take courses to improve my grade average (long story) in order to go to graduate school at LSU-BR. Each and every class was taught by professors who felt intensely about their subjects. There was a sense that the university's mission was to encourage the students to prepare themselves to go out into the world, and make a difference.

Awesome Dr. actually listens to patients accommodates them with the utmost respect.I was involved in an accident years ago and was injured severely.I pride myself on trying not live on government asst.so I new if i was going to provide for my family i was going to have to go back to my job in constr. which is a lot of stress on the body especially after having disc fused and 4 blown in the back.they wanted to do surgery but refused just from the horrors of others having them and still having prob.with the fushin in neck.i would have to rely on pain meds to actually earn a living, the thing is where you go people look at you with the addict not here. The staff here are great they understand what you go through and help you keep your self respect.they make you feel like a person that can provide for your family. To everyone at the clinic to the Dr. that makes you feel at ease, and to the staff that helps you get back and keep your self respect. from the bottom of my heart i thank you.

Jefferson Community Healthcare Center
I just received a call today from Jefferson community Health Care Center. Donna the receptionist wanted to know why I didn't follow up at the E.R. they referred me to during my visit. Again, I informed them at the visit that I could not afford that. I asked Dr. Dumas if he could just treat me for the symptoms that he obviously saw I had and he refused because I was in such bad shape that I "needed" to go to the E.R. If I was in such bad shape, why did they not dial 911? If I was so bad that I needed a trip to the emergency room, why are they calling to check up on me now (weeks later)? I found a doctor that would listen to me first because none of these 9 month course, "certificate and erry thang" medical professionals heard me when I said, " I am only 42 years old, I've never taken a drug a day in my life, I don't smoke cigarettes, I don't come from a history of heart problems, I've been healthy all my life!

Our Lady Of Holy Cross College
Ten years removed from High School, I sought out a degree program that would fit my full time work schedule as well as allow me the balance to continue being a great husband and father. I was shocked when my search yielded OLHCC; all I needed and more to attain a well-rounded business education, right in my back yard. Evening courses, internet courses, independent study, OLHCC has it all! I'm sorry. Did I mention the "Real World" business faculty? If you're looking for a Business Degree that's worth it's weight in gold (by the way, a precious metal whose value has withstood the test of time) a Business Degree from OLHCC might be a great choice for you too. Go ahead! Check it out! I dare ya!J. D. Riley III 08'
