This is one of sleazier of the Bourbon Street strip clubs, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The girls are average to good looking, the drink prices are ~ 7 dollars for a beer, and the girls are fairly aggressive. Lap dances here are 40 dollars for one song and 100 for three-- which is expensive. No two for one deals either here, boys. The lap dances are done in two identical rooms in a courtyard behind the club. After paying my 40 dollars, the stripper brought me to room 1, occupied with a couple. I wanted room 2-- "oh, that's extra". OK, how about waiting for the next song and a vacancy. Rotund Nick (the manager, one cheeseburger away from a coronary) says no. Really, then refund my money. This they did, to their credit. I could see this girl was having a bad night, she even offerred to pay the extra for the second room (10 dollars)-- so I agreed. Porcine Nick was so pissed off at the earlier refund he ejects me from the club, and takes her off the clock. Still feel sorry for the girl. Apparently, the second room has no cameras in it-- never did like the idea of being watched during these dances (or recorded, potentially).

Bertha's Place Bar & Restaurant
Omg we visited Bertha"s on the week of June 19th 2015.And I tell you this is the place to visit with out the young crowd. They all of my kind of music.Even though it is a small place. We can still sit outside and have a great time. I'm from Houston I love this spot and didn't want to leave. I just love New Orleans and the down to earth people. I will be going back before the winter.Look out Bertha"s I will show my face in the place. Keep having good times in Bertha"s

Sweet Lorraine's
Neat little jazz club with live music. Would definitely come back here. Space is tight and gets packed up pretty quick and easy. Intimate and lovely spot for a date as well. Great experience here and the band was real fun to watch/listen to.

The Spotted Cat Music Club
If you ever go to New Orleans, skip tawdry Bourbon Street and head to this spot on Frenchman Street a few blocks away. Had a fun night at this great little old-school jazz joint with live music.

Bourbon Heat
Drinks are expensive says it has balcony seating for dining and it doesn't. Good was mediocre. Pricing on food not bad but would not visit again.
