YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

My friend and I went to New Orleans to party for the weekend, we were both a first timer there. When we were asking people where to go at night everyone suggested ""metro"". We got there early around 10 after seeing all the people partying already on Burboun St. This was big mistake. They were not opened yet and we saw them setting up the place. they kept telling us in 10 minutes, so we ended up going to the hotel near by and hanged out alittle. We finally made it and there was a 10$ cover charge and boy it was worth it. Drinks' prices were average and the music was just amaizng. around 12 it got very packed but in a good way. Everyone was nicley dressed up and having fun with the great music played. \r \r

This is where they invented the 'hurricane' drink. Be careful though, it tastes like fruit punch but it'll creep up on you :P

We've been going to New Orleans for many years and just about every night we wind up at the Funky Pirate on Bourbon St. The staff, the music, and Al Carson and his band are so terrific and engaging you can't help but love it. When I've had a bad day at work, I put on my Big Al Carson CD, pour a glass of wine, close my eyes and melt back to New Orleans and the Funky Pirate.

I come to NO at least twice a year and after being told by the ""Marys"" at the concierge desk of my hotel to go to Oz (which is across the street) I practically ran over to this place! Nice, friendly down to earth clientele and staff. Mixed crowd, not the snotty pretty boys of Oz....music is better and prices are cheaper!
7.Twi Ro PA
1544 Tchoupitoulas St
I am a recent graduate from Tulane and I have seen numerous shows in New Orleans at House of Blues, Tips and Howling Wolf but Twiropa is far and away the best venue to see a show. They have the most space and biggest bars of all the aforementioned venues and the sound quality is pristine.
3442 Saint Charles Ave
Always travel there on business and stay next door at Hampton Inn. As a single girl, I feel safe there. Great owner pays attention to me dining/drinking wine alone. He has great suggestions and the place is quaint. Supposedly the building has been everything from a dress shop to a house of ill-repute. Love it!

F&M's offers a great atmosphere especially for the late night crowd. It's packed with college students and new orleans locals. The highlights consist of late night dancing and a photo booth. Also the outside patio provides space when this bar gets too crowded. It's a good place to intermix with locals. However remember to bring cash. The atm is always out.

Well I am from New Orleans borned and raised but two weeks ago moved to Virginia where I attend college. Chris Owens was a every weekend spot for me. I would go to Bourbon and stay in Chris Owens all night. The people that are there are always there and we were like family. The bouncers, the bartenders, and the DJ are very friendly and are apart of my family now. What more can I say beside I LOVE CHRIS OWENS!!!!!

There's a lot to like about d.b.a. -- the muted, dark wooden decor, the extensive beer and liquor selection and its prime Frenchmen Street real estate. But be careful when you go, because late weekend nights seem to bring out some of the city's rudest patrons. Navigating through the crowd at these times can be downright impossible unless you're a contortionist with a diminished sense of personal space. General late-afternoon and early-evening ""happy hour"" times are much easier, friendlier and more casual, the better to enjoy the exhausting array of spirits d.b.a. has to offer.

Drinks are expensive says it has balcony seating for dining and it doesn't. Good was mediocre. Pricing on food not bad but would not visit again.
