This place is amazing! Right on the water, the place is absolutely gorgeous on the inside and the patio is so nice. Food is great and service is excellent!
2.Abate Apizza & Seafood Restaurant

City Bistro and Hotel was my second choice. The hotel where my meeting was located was next door, but they were booked. How fortunate for me! I travel a fair amount for educational courses. Safety is my number one priority, peace and quiet is a close second. This hotel truly met my needs. And added bonus was the price. Our meeting was located next door, at a much more expensive chain. They have a breezeway connecting the two building. Apparently they are good neighbors. City Bisto's breakfast was hearty, fresh and homemade, unlike the usual continental breakfast your receive with some popular chains. The most have a wise management team because the staff is courteous and professional. My personal favorite was the guy who was down on his hands and knees, scrubbing the tile floor. He seemed happy to do it and said, "This is the only way to do it right." If I return to Greenville this is where I'll stay, and I can wholeheartedly recommend them to you.

4.Pad Thai Restaurant

Surprisingly yummy Thai in this forsaken place. Good extensive menu with reasonable prices. My really like the Drunken Noodles, Coconut Soup, and their mango with sweet rice. Definitely worth a trip or call in for delivery.
5.Jimmies Of Savin Rock
5 Rock St
Jimmies of Savin Rock specializes in fresh fish and prime rib. The family owned and operated restaurant is a West Haven institution, known for its huge portions, waterfront location and the family invention of the split hot dog. We offer banquet facilities for up to 100 people, as well as a patio bar and dining on the Boardwalk. Try our shoreline favories, including clam chowder, steamers, stuffed clams and crab cakes, as well as prime rib, pasta, deep-fried seafood platters and more.
6.The Kitchen Table

Like the lyrics say, Meet you any time you want... At our Italian restaurant... My huisband and I got engaged here, my bridal shower was here and my baby shower was here. We love the food. Antonio - manager and host is like family now. The dishes are not your average Italian - they use really great ingredients and make really great food. Parties held here over the years have been enjoyed by all of our guests. Great deals on parties with AMAZING tiramisu and gorgonzola chicken. My favorite dish is the Lobster Trennete. Mouth watering just thinking of it. Located in Westville - near Woodbridge. TRY IT!
This restaurant is great! Their homemade pasta are fabulous! They make the best gnocchi. And The Beef tenderloin With Gorgonzola sauce Is delicious! There's no restaurant like Lorcio! In New Haven
201 Food Terminal Plz
My favorite for atmosphere and food. The waiters acknowledge your presence immediately. I have many favorites at Brazi and have never had a bad experience. I have since moved away but always make sure I go to Brazi for a have a delicious meal when in CT.
10.The Turf Club Restaurant
600 Long Wharf Dr
964 Chapel St
New Haven struck gold with Zinc. The staff is professional and prompt. The food is reliable. Some older folks are put off by the decor which they view as pretentious, but it's fresh and hip in a way that Connecticut desperately needs. The type of place where you bring your friends from out of town to show off what the Elm City has to offer.
771 Grand Ave
Adriana's is our favorite restaurant. The food is excellent. The waiters are superb. The rooms are not what I would call "cozy" however, they are very clean and acceptable. The bar is outstanding. Adriana's is not your traditional "Itailan" restaurant with a menu of spaghetti and Meatball or lasgna, however the food is incredibly delicious! And the cook does special orders. We always pick this restaurant for our business meetings or family and friends. We Love, Love, Love Adriana's!!
220 College St
14.The Greek Olive Restaurant
402 Sargent Dr
While the restaurant has Greek food on the menu it is more like a diner with all kinds of items offered including Italian food and burgers. Overall the Greek food was good although a little bland. The portions were large. Service was average. The atmosphere was diner-like.
15.Lena's Cafe & Confections
873 Whalley Ave
The absolute best breakfast you can get. I am sure lunch is just as good, but after breakfast, I'm not hungry for another 24 hours.\r The Western Omlette is my favorite, with pumpernickle toast of course. If you get it, tell them Bob sent you.\r Coffee, muffins, pastry, all excellent. Service is personable and professional. John and Gail are great. You deserve to treat yourself and go at least once; and I promise you'll want to go back for more!
155 Temple St
Very nice place, kind of trendy, with a very good food (a little pricy though), and a charming staff. A place to recommend for a cocktail (the mojito is really good) with some friends after work or just to enjoy a romantic and cosy place with your boy/girlfriend.

I'm extremely fortunate to live close enough to the BEST Pizza Restaurant on Planet Earth! To say I, and my friends will keep returning, is very powerful. It takes a lot to impress us when it comes to food.

1279 Whalley Ave
This is the best pizza ever. We have been going here for 22 years. We have been everywhere and no one can compare to ERNIES. Very friendly and who cares if they only have paper plates its only pizza. We usually get it to go but its taste so much better right out of the oven when we do stay occasionally. We dont get pizza as much as we used to due to the economy but when we want to splurge its ERNIES for sure
883 Whalley Ave Ste 1
68 Howe St
It's been a long time sinse I enjoyed eating out so much. Wonderful and inventive cuisine that put the smile on my face immediately. Very friendly and helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices. We ended up with a 70$ bill for two of us (and we had a lot of rolls), but I got 7000$ satisfaction! Definitely will go there again!
16 Whalley Ave
I stay at the Courtyard at Yale on business quite often and am thankful that Empire is right next door. Quality Pizza, Wings, and Calzones. I have had the cheeseburger there a few times and its decent for an Italian place. I like that they can make the Calzone with whatever I want in it, as my odd request of Pineapple, Ham, Sausage, and Pepperoni isnt always something that all italian places can make. Anyway, the food is good, and the guys there remember you. Love that they def take care of their regulars, it keeps me coming back again and again
