Thurman Service Center
This sucks but i am very dissatisfied with Thurman's Service Center. It sucks because these guys work on old cars but i felt like i was wronged. I am going to move on to somewhere else. My first truck i brought there to get exhaust put on, two weeks later it started falling off from the exhaust manifolds and I had to bring it back. Then I had some work done on my Corvette. When i went to pick up the car after hours the whole front windshield was busted. And of course i am not getting any help to fix it, to make this right. I was a loyal customer but they don't care. My loss but I am not going back anymore.

Professional Auto Service
Terrible experience with this shop. Was quoted for a two hour repair. 3 days later, car still not repaired and windshield is broke with a 10 inch crack. Prior to the damage to my car, I asked them if they wanted me to bring the car to a glass shop since they obviously looked uncomfortable working on the car. They stated that they could handle it. Shop admits doing it but takes no responsibility. Old guy behind the counter decides to launch into an angry tirade when I came to pick up my car. First day, they forgot that they had my car. Second day, called at 3 and stated they were just getting it into the shop. Third day, they state "mechanic is OCASSIONALLY working on the car". Totally unsat! Contact me if you have questions. This shop will scam you on auto repair, he charge me more than he quoted me for the job, also he did more damage to my car and wants storage fee if I don't pay him the full amount of his charge. When he say God bless you, to get your car in his shop, then you know this is not some made up story.

Performance Glass Tinting
Being military I have lived in several states and have had cars tinted at several different tint shops over the years.Chris at Performance blows away any other tint jobs I've ever had..simply amazing, flawless work. He has tinted 3 vehicles for me and I could not be happier with how they turned out. If you are looking to tint anything at all you would be crazy to take it anywhere else.two thumbs way up!!

Mike's Tire & Auto
I had Mikes Tire and Auto lower and service my F350. They did a fantastic job and all was right the first time, with no problems. I would recommend Mikes Tire to anyone who needed work done on their vehicle. I realize that they get busy sometimes, but it is worth the wait to know that your car/truck will be fixed correctly.

Mike's Tire & Auto
HORRIBLE service. Took car in because it was getting stuck in Park, making it basically undriveable. They warned us that they were busy that day and would try to get to as soon as possible. Made the mistake of asking them to do some routine maintenance (rotate tire etc.) while it was there anyway for the Park problem. Well, they found the time to do all routine maintenance, but not the ONE thing that was making it undriveable! It was suggested to keep car in neutral, lock it up in our garage to keep it from getting stolen, and bring it back in a week! My best advice to ANYONE out there is to steer clear of this place. They are obviously too busy to do their jobs, but not too busy to take your money.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
