    Do not purchase appliances from Sears!They don't honor their warranties!! My vacuum quit working after 6 months, it was the Kenmore Elite Canister a $400 vacuum, still under the initial 1 year warranty. I spent 1 month trying to get Sears in Albany GA to send it off for repair. After many attempts was told they couldn't because they didn't have repair tags to send it off. I finally spoke with a manager and got every bit of my money back! I will never purchase anything from Sears again period!! I will never step inside another Sears. I spent 4 hours on the telephone and by going in the store trying to get this resolved. So thankful I got my money back!! I wouldn't even give a star if it were an option!! The even worst part of this experience is that when I spoke with the customer service for Sears based out west, the lady said that this continues to be a problem with the Albany GA repair center. She even told me I would have to get there and call them back and let her supervisor speak with the Albany Ga manager in order to get my vacuum repaired. I was like this is ridiculous and just went further and got the money back. One would think a national company such as Sears could make their employees do their job!!

    We bought a warranty when we purchased our vacuum. Our vacuum wasn't working properly and smelling so we were told to take it to the local UPS store and then it would be shipped back to me. Needless to say, my vacuum was gone A MONTH and then they decided that I had to pick it up at a local sears store they would not be shipping it back to me. When I got it back it worked the same if not worse than when I sent it in. I called to speak with a manager, waited on the phone for 20 minutes and then was told they would call me back. Surprise, surprise they never called me. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED! I will never purchase another thing from Sears. I wish I could give them 0 stars.
