Have been trying to get insurance cards for my wife and I since Oct. 13. Have spent over 20 hours on hold at various numbers. They debited our account in Dec. for the Jan. fee, but still not a single piece of paper to verify coverage. Cancelled doctor appointments because we cannot prove we are insured. They all say we are approved, and that there are hundreds in the same situation. One fool this morning told my that we could walk into any doctor's office or hospital and tell them we are insured with Cigna and that would be acceptable. What a bunch of idiots.
edit: I just - finally - found a number for the corporate headquarters as it is not listed on their web site or YP. I found it on their SEC 10K report. It is 215-761-1000
Can not get anyone on the phone. I helt the phone to speak for 45 minutes and all I could get was a recording telling me how important mv call was to them. I called another number for Cigna was put on hold for another 10 minutes.
