This is the oldest Catholic church in Nashville. Small and richly colored, it offers daily Masses at lunchtime for those who work or live downtown. Parking can be an issue but there is a pay lot which is free during Mass times.
Solid Bible teaching from relatable pastors. No need to dress up; casual atmosphere. Big enough that newcomers can check things out without being swarmed.
Love Midtown Fellowship- the people, the community, the heart, the preachers and staff. This is a wonderful and welcoming church!
This is not my normal church, but I have been attending their Wednesday morning bible study and it is amazing! Everyone is so welcoming and the nursery staff and facilities are wonderful. Love this program!!
My grandson has been attending this preschool for about 2 years. The staff is warm and loving. What I like the most is the use of play as a learning tool. The rooms are full of toys and I have noticed a marked increase in his use of imaginative play.
My 4 year old grandson has been a student here for 2 1/2 years. The staff has been nothing but warm, supportive and loving towards him. My daughter drops him off, he runs to his teacher for a hug and never looks back at Mom! What I like best is the emphasis on PLAY as a learning tool. The rooms are full of toys and the kids are encouraged to use their imaginations.
We love our church! I found my faith in this church and have been welcomed by everyone with open arms. Large parish with many many ministries to get involved. Put your faith into action at St. Henry Church. The RCIA program is FANTASTIC!
My child really enjoyed his time there. He was there for 2 1/2 year, and I never had any complaints. The staff were all very nice and loved to be with children. The kids get a sense of what it's going to be like in Kindergarten. In addition to learning they went on field trips, had class parties, had festivals for holidays, and were able to socialize. I was very glad that my son went there.
When I sent my child to Hillwood Playcare I couldn't believe my good luck in finding it! Everyone said to go to St. George which was full and in not going there, we've had the greatest experience imaginable.
The parish is beautiful. The choir is amazing. The pianist is by far the best he really gets in to the music.
