You get your bang for your buck. It's a $60 a night hotel. I'm realizing some of the comments come from guests who don't realize that. The staff isn't going to suck up to you, and there's no complimentary champagne on check in. The bed was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and it's centrally located. It can use an upgrade, sure, but can I stress it's a $60 motel? It only cost us about a $7 uber ride go get to downtown. If you're looking for an easy and cheap place to crash, this is your spot. If you're a weirdo and want to spend time in your hotel while you're visiting places, fork over $200 a night and stay at a resort.
This hotel is really trying to improve itself.Like desperately wanting to be the best hotel that it can be. The staff were polite and concerned about their failings; when we arrived the cable was out, and the orange juice machine wasn't chilling juice. The staff were apologetic, and worked to make up for them. The room itself was quiet, comfortable and the shower seemed like it was fantastic - I had sunburn so I wasn't able to use it to it's fullest. The price was good, and alongside the usual breakfast, the staff were also serving biscuits and sausage gravy, which was clearly just to add something to the day.
We were helped immediately during check in and was told about internet (strange it worked great), ice machine (close by), parking (free), breakfast hrs ( 6-9, surprisingly, potatoes, sausage and strange powdered eggs with the usual fruits bread, juices and coffee that wasn't too bad) and some helpful hints on directions. Place is being painted and looks like some remodeling going on. No noise from that. Good bed, hot water pressure good and no noise problems (we stayed farthest from the freeway)
