Plastic Surgery Affiliates Inc
I have been quite disappointed by my experience at Plastic Surgery Affiliates. I purchased a Groupon for hair removal-full legs & Brazilian. The original laser provided some hair reduction but not full removal. They replaced this laser & the new one is quite painful & not any more effective. I had purchased permanent make up - upper & lower eye liner. Auri worked on the upper eye liner and it did not work. She told me that if the eye liner process did not work, they would provide both reimbursement for unused service and give a credit I could use for the. She told me multiple times over many months that they would process the refund, but each time, there has been no refund. The last time I went to the office for an appt, she told me that they had sent out refund & gift credit the week before (which was not true). The following day she sent me the $100 gift card but has not followed up on the other commitments she made that day & the following week - this was 1 month ago. Don't go.

Dr. Daniel A Hatef, MD
Without a doubt I chose the right doctor for my face and neck lift.He took fat from my belly and put in under my eyes to fill in the wrinkles and in my upper lip which was getting smaller and sagging. The results are so natural I just look like a younger, softer me, not altered. I am thrilled. He really strides to provide the utmost care. He has compassion for his patients and his followup is so caring and personal. I could not be happier with Dr. Dan Hatef. Laura Aldridge

Dr. Daniel A Hatef, MD
Hands down, best surgeon in Nashville! Dr. Hatef is extremely good at what he does and he's not just trying to empty your pockets like other surgeons in the area. He is very precise with his work and he even called everyday after my surgery to check on me. He is genuine and takes pride in his work, as he should! So talented! I will be sending my friends to him as well.

Sieveking Plastic Surgery
This office is extremely busy which means it's very popular. It's a little hard to get appointments, but worth the wait. The nurses and Dr. Sieveking are all friendly and down to earth.
Tips & Advices
Plastic surgeons can be affiliated with hospitals, but it is not a rule. There are hospitals that have comprehensive plastic surgery wings that some surgeons are affiliated with, but affiliation tends to align more with private plastic surgery clinics than with hospitals.
There are variables on an initial consultation, but expect the doctor to review your medical history and discuss the procedure, , its pros and cons of the procedure, surgical and non-surgical options, risks, cost, insurance coverage, and recovery time. Some provide computer imaging of what you will look like pre and post-surgery.
Many doctors provide free consultations for clients, but it is not required.
A plastic surgeon does not have to be board certified. Board certification sets the minimum competency requirements to treat and diagnose patients.
To become a plastic surgeon, one must earn a medical degree, gain a medical license and enroll in a residency and fellowship programs. A plastic surgeon is highly skilled and trained in surgical procedures, but their training has an emphasis on tissue transfer, body contouring and laser surgery, skills associated with plastic surgery.
