I am not a musician, but needed a gift for one at the last minute and the guys at Forks were very friendly and patient even though I had no idea what I was doing. Great local store with great nashvillians supporting local musicians.
Great collection of second hand stuff, the staff is nice and helpful, the location is easy to find. Will go here again!
I found a great Halloween costume for our daughter here, plus a cool vintage(-ish) barbie for very little money. Staff is kind, the location is central and big, with lots to peruse.
Unique treasures can be found, just have to shop often. More instruments and nicer items than other 2nd hand stores. They usually have a lot of seasonal decor available around the holidays.
Excellent music shop for instrument rental and repairs. I used them to repair my son's school trombone. They did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price.
My son takes music lessons here, and he loves it! His teacher is wonderful and always patient. The store itself does have a pretty large selection of products (in comparison with other small shops in Nashville) as well.
The women who own Fannie's are laid back, no pressure business women. They are extremely knowledgeable and experienced in their instruction and gear. There is always something new hanging on the walls that you just have to get your hands on.
The staff here is top notch. They completely understand what it means to serve the customer and are prime examples of what a local business should look like. It doesn't hurt that they all seem to be musical geniuses of some sort.
We bought my daughters used flute here. They also helped us with needed repairs to her flute as well as my clarinet. Very friendly people and very helpful.
This place sucks! I ordered a gsp 21 pro for $149 plus $22 for shipping. It never powered up and spent time diagnosing the problem. No phone support. I discovered a broken fuse and had to get help removing the end cap and cleaning out the glass. All I asked for was a credit of $22 for shipping and they refused to even give me any kind of compensation. Do not shop there! It would have changed my mind if they offered something for my efforts all I got was nothing!Patgracia@comcast.net
