What I value and appreciate most is Pete's sense of honesty integrity. I totally and completely trust his judgement and expertise. Pete not only seems to know more than God (or at least as much) in relationship to computers, but he is fair and honest. I know of one occasion where he found a solution for a virus that there wasn't a fix for, the virus was that new. Once he quotes a price (which is extremely reasonable), he will not change it no matter how long it may end up taking him to resolve an issue. In addition, he refurbishes computers. I bought one recently for 1/4 of what a brand new one would be. Granted, it is in an older shell, but the inner workings are faster than a speeding bullet! I HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone who needs their computer fixed or replaced. He even answers questions over the phone . . . at no additional charge!!! I will always take any compute needs I have to him. It would be insane not to!
We saw an ad Uplo was running about 5 years ago, and what a find! Uplo is now Always our Go-To Source for any computer needs, either buying or repairs. We trust them because everything we've bought has been exactly what we wanted and needed, and it's great to be able to pick up the phone and talk to a real, live, Really Computer Savvy person. And get great prices too! We are sold and solid customers, glad to have stumbled upon such a good business! On a scale of 1-10, Pete and Co. are a 19+ !!!
Terrible customer service! I brought my laptop to install Windows OS on it. First, they didn't have a charger for my MacBook, so I had to make another trip home. Well, maybe they aren't supposed to have it, but they claim they provide IT services and sell computers, so they should have cables for laptops! Ok, I can live with that. Another much bigger issue. When I came in to pick it up (the guy called and said it's ready), it turned out all he did is wiped clean my laptop. No OS installed. What the hell? He should've tested it and made sure everything is working! He apologized and said he'll call me back by 7pm and assured it'll be ready to pick up. Guess what, nobody called me. He took my computer, didn't answer none of my calls, next day I called 3 different numbers for hours.What if I had to leave Nashville yesterday for vacation? Or had an important work and needed my computer? Or just out of town and stayed there a couple of days and then had to leave? The guy just disappeared and his office is closed. So he finally called me back in the afternoon and told me I'll get my laptop by the end of the day. He asked if tomorrow is better and I said I need it asap. Then at 9:30 pm he said it's ready and asked if I want come tomorrow. I came at 11 am next day. The office is closed. I started calling all the numbers I had and finally spoke to his partner, I believe. He called that guy and confirmed he is coming soon. I wonder, why he returns calls from his partner, but ignores his customers?!Finally he showed up and got my laptop. Looks like he did the job, will see how it works. Maybe it's a quality work, but I hate when people feed me with false promises. He should've told me at the beginning it's gonna take that long, so I wouldn't rely on my laptop which I needed these days.
