Kristine's Pet Grooming
I can't imagine anyone not liking Kristine. Someone said she was very rude on the phone. OH NOT SO. She has been in the business for a zillion years and gives each pet extra care and love. My elder grand puppy, LADY(that I have custody of) would try to bite anyone that touched her. Kristine has never had a problem with her. To some she may seem a little fast on the phone but personally I would rather her pay attention to my Lady than chit chat. She is a business owner and I would recommend her to any1. Once you get to know her she is as friendly as they comes. Thanks, Kristine I never worry about my "baby" when she is with you. 1 more thing U can't beat her prices. Wish she would cut my hair. TY again. Beck.

Dippity Do Dog
I love Dippity Do Dog! We took my 50 lb fluffy dog for a nail trim, bath, haircut-- the works! I think we paid about $60 (don't remember if that included tip) and she looked GREAT! She smelled awesome for days and looked SO clean. I have taken her to other groomers and would always find little things they missed like tear stains, missed hairs that weren't cut, etc. At Dippity Do Dog, she was flawless. They made her look so cute with bows and a bandana. When we picked her up, she was so happy too! Usually after the groomer's she acts a little weird becausewe left her somewhere. But not here! I don't have one complaint about this place and I will be taking her back this week :)

Dippity Do Dog
First time we came in we loved it! (had a coupon) Second time it was ok. They charged us $49 (included nail trim) .Third time they messed up our dog's cut. He had one bold spot on his back. When I asked them what happened they acted like it was supposed to be this way! and charged us $54 !!! Took him there again few days ago... did not want nail trim (hoping it would be less), his cut looked nothing like it was supposed to! Holy was too busy to explain -why! charged us $50! when I asked why is it $50 if we did not want his nails trimmed, she sad that nails are not included in the package anymore; so that would be separate.will try to find a different grooming place.

Dippity Do Dog
This groomer never disappoints. I've been taking my dogs to Dippity Do Dog since Holly opened and have always had a great over all experience at every visit. Holly and Jenn are such good hearted, down to earth girls and you just know by the way they greet you and your dog from the minute you walk in the door that your pets are in good hands. I can't say enough good things about this business. The way it's run, the people who run it, and the quality of grooming is truly a Grooming business at it's best. Check out their Facebook's awesome, I love how they post pictures of my dogs Bubba and Murphy after every grooming.

The Dog Groomery
We take our 3 dogs to Christy and we are so glad that we found her. She personally greets the customers and listens to what we want. She has suggested new options that are fur friendly instead of a shave-down. Chewy, Slicker, and Nikki love going there and seem happy about their stay. (I think they are spoiled with all the attention and treats...) We get specialized dog cookies in a personalized bag to take home! Prices are very reasonable. You might find it cheaper, but you won't find it better.

Dippity Do Dog
I've been taking my dog here for a while. Their prices are very reasonable and these girls are the sweetest and kindest to my dog. Every time I walk in I am greeted with a smile and hello. They come and love on my dog while were discussing the groom. My baby girl gets so excited when we drive up in the parking lot. She comes home smelling and looking good. I would not take my doggie anywhere else.

Dippity Do Dog
The staff that work there are so welcoming. They make you feel as tho they have known you forever and are so friendly. My dog was shaking something fierce (he always does this when going to the vet or groomer) and the owner immediately started cuddling him which calmed him and I both down. The haircut was just what I asked for and the prices are very reasonable. Great customer service!

WashPaw Grooming & Self Serve Dog Wash
took my dog sophe in for a do-it-yourself bath. Norma, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful, attentive, or friendlier. I liked the easy-to-use shampoo & flea shampoo "trigger" hoses. She also had full service grooming and you could tell the dogs there were very happy and getting tender loving care. I will definitely start using this facility on a regular basis!

The Dog Groomery
This is a great place for first rate dog grooming! So clean, bright, and professional! Super prices too! My dog Lu looks good, smells, good and I trust the Dog Groomery with her care. Lu has a standing appointment every 4 weeks.
Tips & Advices
Some pet groomers have viewing areas where owners can sit and watch their pets being treated. Most prevent owners from being in the same room as the pet, however, as the owner's presence might cause the pet to become too excited.
Pets that cannot interact with strangers do not make good professional grooming candidates. Sometimes medication can help, but some groomers don't take animals that have been sedated. If a pet becomes too unruly, a groomer may end the session entirely.
It's best to fully vaccinate pets before bringing them to their first grooming appointment. Dogs should receive the DA2PPC vaccine, which stands for canine distemper, canine andenovirus type 2, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza. It's also a good idea to vaccinate dogs against Bordedatella (aka “kennel cough”). In fact, New York City requires dogs receive both DAPP and Bordetella shots. Cats, meanwhile, should get the FVRCP vaccine: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, and panleukopenia. In addition, all pets should be up to date on their rabies shots. Owners should wait at least 24 hours after getting their pet vaccinated before bringing it to the groomers.
Technically, there is no such thing as a pet that is too old for a professional groomer. In fact, older pets with joint or mobility issues often can't groom themselves and need someone else to clean them. However, pets that are blind, deaf, or have serious medical issues might not do well at a groomer, especially if the person is inexperienced. Owners should feel free to ask potential groomers about their understanding of elderly pet issues. Often, older pets will exhibit puppy-like behavior and squirm or yelp during grooming. Alternatively, they might not be able to stand for long periods of time. As such, grooming an older pet usually takes more time than grooming a young one.
Puppies and kittens should be at least 10 weeks old before their first professional grooming session. They should be used to being gently handled by strangers and comfortable being separated from their owners for a few hours at a time.
