Veterans Auto Services
I am so happy I found this place, I will continue the care for both of our cars here. Even if I move out of Nashville, because finding a good, trustworthy, mechanic nowadays is hard to come by. My transmission fluid was dark when I checked it and I had mechanics saying I needed it changed and that there was something wrong if it was dark. The two places I took my car to before sounded like they were going to charge me an arm and a leg and create mythical problems to make money. Veterans Auto Services was awesome. I talked to the owner on the phone before hand and he asked questions about not only my car but my family and made me feel like a customer and not just another money ticket. I was able to bring my car in and drop it off, and within a half hour they called me back and said 'she's ready to go!' Turns out my gut feeling was right about the other places, all I needed done was the fluid change. And because my husband is a veteran himself they gave us a 25% discount! You will not regret bringing your vehicle to them.

German Performance Options
I've been doing business with German Performance Options for over 10 years and they are without a doubt the best bunch of "ace mechanics" and "car doctors" I've ever done business with! That's why I've continued to patronize their services. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you know what's wrong, how it can be fixed as economically as possible, and how much it will cost to fix and or repair with very accurate estimates. The service that I have received ay GPO has been outstanding and I wouldn't trust the care of my high mileage vehicle to anybody else in Nashville. As their name, German Performance Options states, they do provide customer OPTIONS and are very willing to work with their patrons to foster customer loyalty and satisfaction. The front office is run very efficiently with follow-up and courtesy calls to make sure everything was done right. They've done right by me, they'll do right by you.

Donelson Auto Clinic
I didn't want the expense of getting a new vehicle but needed to make sure I had a safe vehicle for the road. I thought I would have to have to sink money into the one I'm driving now. I needed someone to go through it and look for problems that needed to be fixed. Always scary because of too many bad experiences with dishonest shops in the past. But Donelson Auto Clinic gave me really good news, instead of fabricating problems like so many shops do. They didn't find anything that I needed to be concerned about, other than warning me about the wear on my tires, which they didn't even try to sell me. Unbelievable! I think their prices are very fair because they actually care and do good work and their honesty is priceless to me. I know that any vehicle I take there will be in good hands and that they are actually doing the work that they said they did.

United Auto Service
After I put over 100,000 miles, my car have been giving me lots of problems. I've been to several mechanic with same issue to fix and it never were fixed completely, wasted lot of time and money,to the point I was getting afraid to take my car for service until I decided to take upon my friends referral to United Auto Service. Mechanic were very competent, he knew exact problem to the car and spent sufficient time and effort to have my car fixed and check follow up with test drive for perfection. Not only that their charges were so amazingly reasonable, I couldn't ask for better service and cost efficient. I give two thumbs up to the owner Mr. Bruce with all the respect!! Mr. Bruce you have given my mind at peace through providing hassle free auto repair. Thank you!

A-1 Nashville Transmission
My Step Daughters car broke down in Murfreesboro. I call Nashville Transmission and they said they would go pick it up for Free. They did. The car wouldn't even drive, the engine was messed up and the transmission wasn't working right. I thought the car was done for. So when Rick call me back after looking at the car he told me what is was going to cost to fix it and I was so surprised. The price was 1/3 the price I was expecting to pay. So I told him to go ahead and he had the car back and running the next day. Car is still running great. He even went a replaced the light bulbs in the rear taillight. All I can say is they are good people. I highly recommend them to anyone. They may not be a big chain but they have better service based on my experience with them.

Selley's Automotive
I have been a customer of Selley's Automotive for many, many years & highly recommend this shop. The lead mechanic has over 35 years experience. These guys are professionals! Regarding the reviews posted here attempting to cast a negative shadow on this shop....consider those reviews as questionable.I'll take Selley's Automotive lead mechanic's word and ability anytime over some employee at the local AutoZone. Also, if you want to buy your own part somewhere else.... then do your own work or hire a shade tree mechanic. The local auto parts store is for the D-I-Y repair.Selley's will stand behind the work they do and the parts they install! They're also a AAA approved auto repair shop....just so you know.

Red Ball Garage
I brought my car into Red Ball Garage to get an estimate for some repairs that I knew needed to be done. I had already received two other estimates for the work and they not only beat both the other estimates, but they were able to do the work right then and there. They had the parts in stock and they explained exactly what was wrong, what needed to be replaced and how they would perform the work. I felt very comfortable. They did not try to up-charge me or anything like that. The work was completed right away and it was all done correctly. I would recommend them to anyone. I will definitely use them again.

Hawramy Auto Repair
Hawramy is the only auto repair shop I trust with my car. I have been a customer for eight years. At Hawramy, you can expect to receive an honest assessment of your vehicle's issue, fair pricing for the parts and service, and a high level of respect for your time and needs. Everyone working at Hawramy is genuinely invested in customer satisfaction--and it shows! There are no shallow, corporate "we care" slogans at Hawramy because the level of caring is an action there--not just something that is said. Additionally, the work performed at Hawramy is consistently top-notch. When they fix my car, it is fixed!

Custom Auto
These guys are my heroes! My Ford Explorer suddenly died at 5:30 am on Murfreesboro Road within sight of this shop. I called them at 7:15 and within 5 minutes, two guys had come to help. They figured out it was my alternator, and hooked a charging box up to my battery and rather than waiting for it to charge, left it attached and drove the Explorer across the grass straight to their shop. I loved that they expedited the whole process. My son and I were repaired and out the door by 8:30 am!!! Amazing! These guys are awesome and their price was very reasonable! Love them!

No, it is possible to install a home alarm system yourself. Some systems are specifically designed to be installed by homeowners. These systems are often cheaper and more customizable. However some systems require the expertise of a professional and installation should be left up to them to avoid making any errors. Review the specifications of the system and/or contact the manufacturer if you are unsure about its installation requirements.
  • Easy and inexpensive to install and does not require any drilling or modification of the home.
  • Does not require a landline.
  • Can be taken from one home to another during change of residence.
  • Can be combined with a hardwired system.
  • No need to change any batteries, as with wireless systems
  • No interference from other signals
  • All hardwired systems run on essentially the same technology so products and services from different companies will be compatible with each other.
  • If moving to a home with a hardwired system already installed, you can save money by bypassing installation costs.
  • New security equipment for these systems is less expensive than for wireless systems.
  • Can be combined with a wireless system
  • Hardwired: A system that uses cables to connect all sensors to a central control panel within your home. The cables are usually installed within the walls or floorboards of your home. The control panel then uses your home’s landline connection to call for assistance (police, fire, medic).
  • Wireless: A system which uses wireless technology (wi-fi) to connect all sensors to your home’s central control panel. The panel uses the established network to communicate with the outside for assistance.
  • A combination of hardwired and wireless: Custom systems can be configured to have a home totally hardwired and equipped with wireless outside communication (no landline), or have a totally wireless home and hardwired outside communication.
