Nashboro Village Family Dental
Remember there are also two sides to a story. Most of the time, people will only share their side of the story. I am certain that if a patient was unhappy with the service provided, management would take responsibility for the situation and try to do whatever in their means to rectify the situation. As far as my experience with this office, I have nothing but positive feedback to share about Nashboro Village Family Dental. Please pay close attention to the word "family." Dr. Hill is experienced at what he does and his office staff treat their patients with the utmost respect and professionalism. The dental care that they provide would be on the same level of care as they would provide for their own family members. You cannot find a dentist who is more compassionate or passionate about the well-being of his patient's. He has excellent chair-side manners and devotes the utmost attention to his patients. Sharon, the office manager, is a also a very caring and down-to-earth individual who not only cares about her patient's dental health but also their and their family member's overall health and well-being. The staff are very courteous, professional and friendly. Most recently when I had to have a root canal performed, Dr. Hill along with his assistant Lashonda made me feel very relaxed during the entire procedure...checking on me constantly to make certain that I was not uncomfortable. Dr. Hill and his assistant also answered any questions that I had and took the time to explain things in layman terms. Let me also add that when I called the office with complaints of pain and discomfort, they got me in to see Dr. Hill in a timely manner. Additionally, Dr. Hill and his staff regularly attend educational seminars to stay abreast of any changes concerning the dental practice and they also use state-of-the art equipment. I would highly recommend this office to anyone that is seeking qualified and compassionate dental services for their entire family.

Mason, William J DDS
My husband and I have come here for almost 2yrs. Dr. Mason gives good care and attention to his patients and his clinic staff. However, his front office staff (Betty) is rude, demeaning, and violates many HIPPA privacy regulations. She has demeaned my family verbally on phone and in person. She refers to your care based on what insurance you have, and Dr. Mason does not address the issues. I HATE having to make appointments for him because of her. They have HORRIBLE availability. They are ther Mon, Tues, Thurs from 830-2 for appts and Wed 8-12. For those of us with careers, there's NO flexibility in that. She will even deny care to a patient without speaking to the dr. If she is a continued reflection of his business, then I would NEVER suggest anyone to see them, The office needs a LOT of updating. Nothing is electronic. VERY difficult to get and receive records from this office, no computer for appts or billing either. My husband and I have had SO many issues with this office and billing being done by them incorrectly due to lack of technology. My insurance company even said they don't like this office to deal with. Definitely not family friendly either. Will definitely be seeking care elsewhere in a more comfortable and business appropriate environment

Dr. Mason has been my family's dentist for years. He is great. He listens to you. He responds empathetically. He is known as "the painless dentist" for good reason; he is gentle, careful, caring and compassionate when doing dental work. His office has a "feels like home" touch to it. He does have many regular patients who love him and his staff (Betty, Rita and Nichole) so you should schedule your appointment in advance due to his large number of clients. His office will do its best to work someone in during an emergency, but you might need to be on call to come in when somebody cancels their appointment. For this reason, you should become a regular patient, scheduling cleanings and procedures in advance to minimize your dental emergencies. Again, Dr. Mason and his staff care for their patients and their patients care for them.

Ronald, LuBovich DDS DDS
After seeing four dentists, I spent over twenty years in pure agony due to poor dentistry. I then met the Master Artist. In one visit Dr. L alleviated the pain and discomfort. Then over the next few months he worked to restore my mouth. It is said one picture is worth a 1,000 words. Well there are no words to express the magic Dr. L performed and what he accomplished from studying a 50year old photo before I had any dental work. I don’t believe I have ever met a more dedicated person. Through his rare ability to actually listen to his patients, his artistic abilities and dedication he restored my mouth , my smile and my confidence. My teeth match the photo and really feel as though they are natural. For this I will ever be grateful. A Louisiana patient and friend

Promise Dental
Found my new dental home!! Great staff and beautifull office.I have had a lot of dental treatment over the years and spoken with many different dentists and doctors.I was nervous about coming to a new dental office, but Dr. Bush was very knowledgable and answered all of my questions concerning recommended treatment.I have learned that every dentist or doctor diagnosis differently and recommended treatment can vary.I also have most certainly noted over the years that every office has their own way of doing things, but I confidently say that Dr. Bush and his team at Promse Dental are there to do their best in helping you feel comfortable and to answer any questions regarding recommended treatment.I highly recommend this office!!!

Allure Dental
This is by far the coolest dental office I have been to. Dr. Mehr and his staff are young, kind, knowledgeable. They offer advanced treatment in dentistry like the kind you see on extreme makeover... and they can do it in one day with affordable payment options. The office atmosphere is both refreshing and relaxing. They play music in the background during your treatment and the treatment plans are reviewed via digital images on the wall. Even the forms I filled out during sign in were electronic... this place is definitely high tech. I am very pleased with my visit and I am happy to have Dr. Mehr as my dentist. Allure dental gets my highest recommendation.

Nashville Family Dentistry
I have been going to this location since before it was Nashville Family Dentistry (over 20 years) and I honestly wouldn't trust anyone else to do my teeth. Everyone is friendly and a lot of the people that work there have been there for a long time. Outside doesn't look like much, but once you are in, everything is nice and clean. Dr. Elliott is super nice, he knows what he is doing, and takes his time with each one of his patients. I even have my husband going to this office to get his teeth done. Would recommend that you make an appointment early in the year because they tend to get busy in Nov/Dec.

Family Dentistry
My entire family of 5 go to Dr. Manning. My kids love this dentist. We were told by another practice that my oldest needed thousands of dollars worth of work on his teeth. We just happened into Dr. Manning's office for a 2nd opinion. Turns out over half the stuff didn't need to be done. He's honest and give great care. My boys LOVE Tiffany (a dental hygienist). She young and fun. They like going to the dentist b/c of Tiffany & Dr. Manning. Everyone in the office is great.

James Crafton DDS
GREAT dentist. Dr. Crafton and his staff are top notch! They really go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. He is wonderful with kids and adults of all ages. My daughter had to get some teeth pulled and is terrified of needles. Dr. Crafton was patient and encouraging and so good she didnt even noticed when he gave her several shots. If you are looking for a good dentist in the Bellevue , Green Hills, Bellemeade area I highly recommend this practice.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
