Mop and Bucket Cleaning Services
Skip this guy and find someone else local. He no-showed, didn’t check in or try to reschedule until hours after the fact, and when I️ told him how unprofessional it was he hung up on me. When I️ called back he started cussing me out for requesting a refund. Dude legit doesn’t deserve your business.

Amedisys Hospice
Amedisys Hospice did a wonderful job assisting my sister and I before, and after, the passing of our mother. We are truly grateful for all of the wonderful, caring, and thoughtful staff members that have provided support. Although it is never easy when a loved one passes, Amedisys Hospice was there every step of the way and we feel very fortunate to have had them by our sides during this emotional time.

Ray was great to work with. He offered us a test drive and explained everything to our satisfaction. We will come back to Cullum and Maxey for our next RV. Thanks for all your help.

Hawramy Auto Repair
Hawramy is the only auto repair shop I trust with my car. I have been a customer for eight years. At Hawramy, you can expect to receive an honest assessment of your vehicle's issue, fair pricing for the parts and service, and a high level of respect for your time and needs. Everyone working at Hawramy is genuinely invested in customer satisfaction--and it shows! There are no shallow, corporate "we care" slogans at Hawramy because the level of caring is an action there--not just something that is said. Additionally, the work performed at Hawramy is consistently top-notch. When they fix my car, it is fixed!

Cullum & Maxey Camping Center
Great service from Bud on getting an issue corrected on my new Miramar RV. I was visiting Nashvile and I purchase a new RV. While I live in NC, he contacted Thor, spoke to Stephanie and she reach our to her service tech Dean. They were both great and I want to thank Larry in sales at the dealer also for getting this issue resolved. Cullum & Maxey were outstanding and need to be recognized for their service.

M And M Auto Repair Shop
Extreme lack of professionalism. Do not come here! I brought my car in to get the bumper fixed. I was told it would be ready within 3 weeks. I paid partially upfront and bought the parts myself. For 3.5 months I continued to pressure Luis to finish the car and would get the same excuses and promises to have it finished soon. However, these promises were broken time and time again when I would show up and my car would not have even been worked on. When my car was finally finished, I was informed that it no longer started! The car drove fine before it was worked on.

Vanderbilt Health Walk-In Clinic Belle Meade
Went to the clinic on 7/25/17. I was seen by a woman doctor who was supposed to call in a prescription for me. That never happened. Made 3 trips to the pharmacy and none were called in to ANY Walgreens, let alone the one she had on file for me! Very poor service for a place with the name Vanderbilt on it. Good thing it was not a medication I need to survive! I had to call the next day to find out what happened to my prescription, and was told they would have to call me back. Several hours later, I receive a call telling me it was now called in. When I asked as to why it hadn't been done the day before, I was told... "I have no idea". No apology, nothing.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
