Went to Lonnie Young shoes due to convenient location versus traveling farther to another children's shoe store we had previously visited. We knew what we were looking for- first walkers for our 11 month old. We were surprised how the salesperson spoke about a Stride Rite shoe that is currently offered at Stride and other stores- saying the model was outdated. After a quick measurement, the salesperson brought out 5 boxes of shoes, the SALES PITCH was on! She said one can always needs a 2nd pair of walkers and a girl needs to be fashionable- showing us other designs of boots and shoes! When we said no thank you, the salesperson tried to sell us shoe polish, then said you need some lace socks to go with those shoes! SALE SALE SALE! The salesperson jumped up and ran to the check out, not asking if we had any question or concerns or if we were happy with the shoes, it seemed she was in a hurry to rush us along! We paid and stepped out of the store- feeling as if we had been treated like cattle! Get them in, hit them with whatever you can sell, get them out quickly! Maybe the children's shoe that was 10 miles farther would have a better experience!
I contacted this agency and they took a long time to get back with me. Finally when they did, I did not even get a copy of my dec page.

This is a small shoe store with a good selection of extra wide and specialty shoes. The salesperson was very helpful in discussing options with me. Most shoes are over $200.
