Coastland Auto Service
First class experience.Brought in my BMW 328i GT that I had driven into a ditch during a storm - the entire half of the car and back looked like it had been torn off. Pieces of my rear and bumper were everywhere and entire underbody of the car was covered in mud and debris. Had to be towed into the shop, completely un-drivable.From the moment I got there my mind was at ease. They know exactly what they're doing and deal with BMWs and all sorts of makes dealing with exact parts - quality part replacements. They handled everything with the insurance and made sure everything was fixed perfectly - down to a 1/2" scrape to a rear trim. Once I dropped it off there was zero work, zero haggling with insurance over repairs - was a seamless process.Received my car back quickly and it drove brand new. There's a reason BMW and so many people trust this shop - they do amazing work and I cannot praise them enough.

Coastland Auto Service
I took my car here last week for the first time and I was very happy with their customer service and care of my car. Brian and his staff were very pleasant and caring. I went for what I thought was just a serpentine belt problem. Not only did I have that problem but they found my fuel line was cracked. They gave me a rental, for a great price, and had my car fixed quickly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. On a side note they have a great waiting area.

Toms Mobile RV Service
My inverter failed. I went to the Tom's website and entered my information for a return call. He called me in under 20 minutes, had read my description of my issues, and was prepared with options. Amazingly his first option entailed advice and direction that I could do to remedy the situation myself. We then discussed additional service options and his rates for an onsite call. Very professional and helpful. Prompt response to my email service request.

Rick Johnson Auto & Tire
Brought my Jeep in there today to get inspected. Had me in and out in 30 minutes!. They were extremely down to earth. They diagnosed a couple of problems I already known about. After they gave me a quote, I took my Jeep to 2 other places to see what they would cost me. I came back to Rick Johnson's Auto & Tire cause they did a better job with the inspection and were affordable! I am glad I came they did a great job on the tie rods and brakes!

I called 4 places to get information and price quote. I finial decided on having Rick Johnson Auto & Tire to fix my car because they DID NOT treat me like an idiot for missing up my own car, P.S I really respected that! They fixed my transmission! So grateful it is driving on the road!

Jack's Auto Repair Of Naples Inc
Took my 2010 Nissan to the Nissan Dealership a month ago for routine maintenance and they said that I was in need of brake pads. Just took my Nissan over to Jack's Auto to replace the pads and they did a free inspection and told me no pads nor any brake work was needed. I'm referring everyone I know to this shop! Very hard to find honest auto repair shops these days.

Had both a late model vehicle as well as a classic car (which they did a full on-chassis restoration for me). The one thing that stands out for me is that they treated my vehicles as if they were their own. There is no other place to take your vehicle if you want things done right and done right the first time.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
