Elk Mountain Tents
I bought the 13X16 model with the angles included to elk hunt in Idaho. We built a frame out of some steel pipe and installed a homemade stove. The tent was up from September to mid-November and held out everything an Idaho Elk hunt could throw at us; from 40 mph wind, to rain, to sunshine and eventually snow it kept the weather at bay. When we took down the tent there was quite a bit of ice and snow frozen to the roof, I was glad that we went with steel pipe instead of the ¾” EMT but once we lowered the one side the angles buckled on the other side. This year we will be installing a fly to slide off the bulk before we tear it down. The tent slept 4 people, a stove and lots of gear easily. The Elk Mountain Tent was far less expensive than other tents we looked at, it included the angles and was much lighter to carry. The customer service has been excellent, all my questions have been answered pretty dang quick and they even sent me a piece of the fabric before I purchased the tent.

Elk Mountain Tents
Last fall, when I was shopping around for a wall tent, the the guys at Elk Mountain Tents made it an easy choice. My tent showed up on my door step right on time and it couldn't have been easier to figure out and set up. This tent made my first self guided western hunt a truly comfortable experience that I know will not be my last. It's everything the web site says and more. I would definitely recommend a tent from Elk Mountain to anybody that is looking for a light weight durable and affordable wall tent and can't wait to see what they come up with next to add to my hunting setup. As you can see in the picture, I purchased the 13 X 20, but added a extra 6feet of frame on the front as an awning. This was on a Wyoming Antelope Hunt.Justin Baker

Elk Mountain Tents
I did a lot of research prior to buying the Elk Mountain Tent. They had the best prices and the best tents out of all of them I looked at. They also had the most included in the price. The windows and the angle kit. I bought the 13 x 20 model. I haven't used it in field yet but will be doing so in the next month. I cut the poles for it using the directions that came with the tent. It was very easy to do and way cheaper than I expected. I have put the tent up and it was very easy to do with 2 people. I would absolutely recommend buying an Elk Mountain Tent to anyone looking to buy a great one.

Justin was real easy to get ahold of and answer all my questions in a professional way. I recieved my tent and read through the easy directions to build my frame. Within an hour my frame was built and putting the tent up only took 2 of us a half hour.....not bad for the first time. I an really happy with the guidelines, D-loops, stakes and overall construction. The windows are super nice as well. I bought the rain fly as well and it fits nicely. So glad I bought it and would recommend this tent.

Great tent at a ECONOMICAL price! I was pleasantly surprised how easy this tent went together. There are other tents on the market that cost 2-3 times as much and are not nearly as well built. I was able to put this together with a little help from my wife in about 1 hour. Now that I know exactly how to assemble it I think it will only take 30 minutes or less with a hunting buddy helping out. I would recommend this tent to any DIY hunters!

We bought our tent this last spring. We couldn't be happier! We bought the 13'x16' tent with screen door and awning. We also got the floor and the rain fly. We had the tent set up during a VERY bad storm that had trees down from the wind and water in basements don't normally flood and the tent stayed up with no issues. And not a drop of water in the tent. We were amazed! Totally love our tent and are so happy! Thanks so much!

Elk Mountain Tents
I purchased my elk mountain tent just in time for hunting season. The quality is top notch and the cable rafters stiffen things up better than any wall tent I have ever been in. The material that elk mountains make their tents out of is extremely water resistant if not water proof. But most of all I was impressed with their customer service, I call after hours and left a message and they immediately returned my call.

Elk Mountain Tents
I bought my 13x20 tent last fall and we love it. My wife and I can set it up and tear it down by ourselves quite easily. The canvas is lightweight but very strong! It has kept us dry and warm through torrential rain and horrible winds. A small propane heater gets it toasty in no time when the mercury drops below freezing. So I can only imagine how well a wood stove works! 5 stars all the way around.

I purchased the 13x16 with the awning in time for elk hunting in the Eagle Cap mountains. We set it up in a snow storm, got 10 inches of snow that week, and the tent was awesome. It never leaked, held up well to the wind and was easy to set up. Customer service is phenomenal as well, answered all my questions promptly and very fast shipping. Highly recommend these tents, especially for the price.

Elk Mountain Tents
This tent worked great for my 2015 bull elk hunt in southeast idaho. We bought this tent over many others we looked at due to the lighter weight material it is made of. We were not disappointed! The tent is great, it is not only light weight but durable. Like many of our hunts in idaho it poured rain and the wind blew but this tent stood strong and kept us and our gear dry!

Just a moment...
