Pet Center
I went to Pet Center to purchase another pet rat. I had recently purchased a pet rat a few months back and I decided it would be in my best interest to purchase the new rat from the same place as the previous rat. When I looked at the tank where the rats where kept, they were in horrifying conditions. The rats were bitten and bleeding. The males and females were kept in the same tank, and there was even a dead rat in the tank! None the less, I decided to get one of the rats in the tank. When I asked the lady who worked there to get it for me she grabbed the rat by the end of the tail (not okay) and handed her to me, not to mention she was so rude and unapproachable. The very next morning my newest rat died and it was very clear she was in extreme pain. I'm going to chalk it up to the fact, she was not taken care of at Pet Center. When I called the store to tell the staff about it, the lady answered the phone (once again, totally rude) and told me I could bring the dead rat in to either get another rat or get my money back. I don't care about my money but it was the principle of the matter. When I took my rat back to the store, the man was so rude and asked me if I had purchased the rat as a pet (as if that is unheard of?!). When I told him i did, he was a bit taken back. So none the less, the man gave me my money back and took the rat and threw her in the back. I then asked if I could have her back so I could take her and bury her. The man looked at me and then rolled his eyes. Pet Center should be shut down! ALL the animals are kept in terrible conditions and the staff is so rude.

PetSmart
The groomers are very rude and do not cut hair well at all. Every time I go into the grooming salon someone complains about their dog's cut. If you want a good job done I would most definitely not suggest going here!

Petsense Inc
Good selection. Not a ton of stuff for animals other than dogs and cats, but everything you need if you have a dog or a cat. Pretty good prices, especially on food. Lower than Petsmart.

Pet Center
Horrible cruel place. Multiple large birds in cages barely big enough for a hamster to be housed in. No water, clumps of missing feathers. Large birds need big cages and lots of toys to keep them occupied, they become stressed very easily and require a lot of interaction. They are being severely neglected. These birds are obviously terrified and depressed. Do not support this pet store. They should be shut down.

Petco
This Petco is one of the nicest pet stores I've ever been in. It is always clean and fully stocked.. Their aquatics department rocks! Kyle is very knowledgable and spends a lot of time helping me with my many questions. And if he doesn't have what I want, he checks to see if he can special order it. Keep up the great work!
Tips & Advices
Pet owners usually sign a waiver stating that any injury or illness a dog suffers while at daycare is the responsibility of the owner. However, most facilities carry liability insurance and pet business insurance in the event of a serious incident. To prevent illness, facilities are strict about requiring proof of vaccination and general health from a veterinarian prior to accepting a dog. However, in an off-leash setting, scuffles or fights might occur. Reputable facilities will often hire vet assistants who can treat minor injuries and under-the-weather dogs.  For anything more serious, a good daycare should make it a priority to get the dog to a vet, and get in immediate contact with the owner.
