Headz To Toez
I've been in Myrtle Beach since the early 90's and have yet to find a salon than can make me happy with my hair. That all changed when I stumbled upon Head To Toez.Debbie, the owner, is a master at cut and color. Never have I walked out of any salon and received so many compliments. The hue was warm and almost three dimensional..none of that 'flat' looking color. The cut was amazing. She'll do exactly what you ask for but, if you tell her to do what she thinks is best.....you're better off. Give her free rein...she's an artist!I had my color and cut done about 6 weeks ago and it looks almost as good as when I walked out her door.Although I go to Debbie she does have two other excellent stylists, Julie and Chris. The atmosphere of this salon is very comfortable. Debbie is a happy, up beat personality and spending a few hours with her while she's doing hair is actually fun.'Heads to Toez' does not take credit cards in an effort to keep costs down and pass the savings on to their clients. They have done just that as this is the most reasonable price I have ever paid for cut/color/style.I recommend them highly and believe that this is one of the best kept secrets in Myrtle Beach.

Dolce Lusso
I have been a customer of Aveda Salons, for several years, and in many different states. This one compares to the others. The stylist, Liviu, did a fantastic job on my hair, I had a great massage by Michelle, and she waxed my eye brows. The nail technician (I forgot to get her name) also did a great job. The only thing I could comment on for improvement is the service providers should listen to their client more. Michelle took it upon herself to shape my eye brows the way she wanted, I made the appointment for an eye brow tweeze, she waxed my eye brows and shaped them the way she wanted.....and Liviu, he charged me extra for a flat iron style, and for a "pull through" of my color at the sink. I have been to many Aveda's and generally they will tell you when you will be charged extra....this one failed in that aspect. I would recommend this store but just be clear with your provider what you do & don't want from them.

Planet Hair
Brianna does an amazing job, she's great at coloring hair. I got highlights and everyone keeps complimenting me saying that it makes my hair look much more vibrant. She takes her time to address the details you want. Kyle does my eyebrows and is very attentive. I'm very picky about the way my eyebrows are done, I ask for him to not take away my thickness and he doesn't, I don't trust anyone else with my eyebrows. He also did my updo for a formal event, I showed him a picture reference and he copied it perfectly, I looked like Taylor Swift curly side updo (even though I don't like her, she had the style I wanted). Come here, you won't regret it.

Allure is a little more expensive than other salons I have tried but I know I am always going to get expert advice and excellent treatment. After my regular stylist moved out of state, I had one not so great experience with a stylist (who is no longer there) at the other location. They were quick to fix the problem, very apologetic, and followed up to make sure I was satisfied. I was pleased with professional resolution and the immediate attention I received. In addition, I found a new regular stylist who is fantastic and really listens to me.

Instyle Cuts
I just moved here and needed a haircut for a job interview. I was scared, to tell the truth, having my short hair cut by a stranger. I googled "salon" and did my best to pick a good one. What an awesome surprise! So lucky! Tiffany listened to me carefully (so many stylists do not), and gave me a cute, contemporary-looking and professional hairstyle. I love it.I will definitely continue having my hair styled here. This experience goes in the win column. Five stars.

Center Of Hope Of Myrtle Beach
For those of you/us who choose to bash the place, it's people like us who 1) made a place like this necessary 2) make or break the place and 3) if you're going, it's either 100% for the wrong reason or you are an entitled brat thinking that a handful of Dr.'s, pharmacists and counselor's are there to pull you out of your own mess and make your ride cushy, comfortable and clean. Hmm, maybe you'd like the "sevice" to be free to you as well?

Steven Gerard's Signature Salon
I found a great salon that did an awesome cut and color for a reasonable price! But more importantly, I found a great hairdresser with Carley. Carley took time with me to discuss what my expectations were and did exactly what I asked for.... this had not happened in any of the salons I've gone to since moving to the area!

Artistik Image Hair Studio
Haven't had a professional haircut in I don't even remember how many years. I was put completely at ease by Jennifer. She was terrific. Kept my wishes in mind while giving me a professional do. That, with beautiful highlights, an I was walking on air! Thanks, Jennifer!

Miracle Nails
Visited Myrtle Beach for our summer vacation and this place was near us. My daughter and I got a mani and pedi and then we were ready for the beach with our pretty nails. Friendly and very clean place. Would definitely recommend.

My kids were scared of the dentist because of their first dental experience somewhere else. But now my kids are not scared anymore after going to Happy Teeth. and they say they like the fishy nemo rooms. Great place for children
Tips & Advices
If you don't have insurance, you may be able to find outpatient programs like Narcotics Anonymous that offer counseling and meetings for patients at no cost.
Some facilities accept health insurance like United Healthcare, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Humana and Medicaid. Many carriers support in-state assessment, detox and outpatient treatment. Some also partially cover residential or inpatient treatment. Because drug addiction is considered a disease, major health insurance providers must treat it like any other chronic condition that requires medical treatment. Be sure to inquire about co-pays and deductibles so you don't receive a surprise bill months after you start a program.
Yes. Some treatment programs promote quick sobriety through seemingly impossible means, such as herbal supplements or religious affiliation. Be wary of questionable claims like, "Shake your drug addiction in one week!" If the advertising sounds too good to be true, the program could potentially be a scam. Instead, look for organizations that include approval and certification from real doctors and health care providers.
Yes. Attending a program that is specific to your drug of choice will make your treatment much more likely to be impactful and successful.  Some provide certain users with medications like Valium and Xanax to counteract symptoms of distress associated with alcohol or drug withdrawals. You may not want to attend such programs if you fear that you may instead become addicted to these substances.
Yes. A physician can determine how severe your addiction is, which will help you decide if you want to try inpatient or outpatient treatment. He or she can also consider any withstanding health issues such as psychiatric conditions that should be factored into your decision. Next, check out facilities and programs that offer treatment for the substances that you abuse.
