I had a Thursday appointment for carpet & grout cleaning. At 1:30 PM on Wednesday they sent an email with the message “We had to change your appointment to tomorrow between 10-12pm. Please contact us by responding to this email.” At 7:45 that evening, I replied, “ok.”At 11:30 AM on Wednesday when no one had appeared or called, I called them. They said that since they hadn’t heard from me, they’d taken me off the schedule but would put me back on for noon to 2:00 . Also, the excuse for contacting me via email was that someone had entered my phone number incorrectly. At 2:12 PM when again no one had appeared or called, I called them. They said they would contact the technician and call back. At 2:52 having heard nothing, I again called. This time they said the technician was supposed to have called me and they would recheck. At 3:03 PM a different person (with a crying baby in the background) called back and said the tech was having vehicle trouble but would probably be back on the road in a short time. Five minutes later, the tech called to say he was on his way from Surfside. He arrived in a reasonable amount of time but the next wrinkle was that in their view, a kitchen is just the area bounded by cabinetry. Our eat in kitchen area was deemed a dining room and would cost an additional $50, a 100% increase. I agreed. When the tech was finished and paid $234.90 I asked for a copy of the invoice. Since his was on an electronic device without printing capability, he said the office would send it. Two days later having received nothing, I emailed them asking for the invoice. It finally arrived, 4 days after my request and 6 days after completion of the job. I’ve requested a refund. These are all organizational problems.

Xtreme Dry Carpet Cleaning
First things first: Customer service is definitely a priority for Xtreme Dry Clean Carpet Cleaning! Some of the nicest people you'll ever do business with. At every level of service, they were very polite and accommodating. The dry service that they offer is perfect when you want to have little to no downtime. The carpets that I had cleaned were not in very bad condition, but some of the high traffic areas were brought back to life! The smell of the product they use is a refreshing citrus. They have great attention to detail and passion for the service they provide. The price is fair as well, especially when you take all that goes into carpet cleaning into consideration. I would highly recommend these guys to any and everyone! You won't be disappointed!

Healthy Home
Before the decorations went up for the holidays we made a call to Healthy Home Carpet Cleaning. They not only cleaned the carpets but they also did the upholstery. Now we are ready to have friends and family over for good times and we don't have to worry about how our house looks. They even left us a bottle of stain remover to use. I am sure that will come in handy during our parties. You can be sure we will be calling them again in January after all the events are over. They always do a great job.

Dargan Real Estate
Wonderful Realty company in Myrtle Beach. We wanted a home out in the country and away from all of the hectic traffic. They found us a great house in Green Sea and we love it. The two acres of land are perfect for our kids. I am very thankful we had such a great experience with you guys.

Sellers Choice
I would give Karen of Sellers Choice 6 gold stars if able. Calls, emails, texts always answered promptly and each and every concern followed through thoroughly. The sale of my condo and purchase of my home went smoothly because of Karen's expertise and recommendations. Thank you.

The best carpet cleaning and affordable prices. We had a minor flood in our basement and the water ruined our carpet and made the place reek. They came in and did a overhaul on the carpet and it looks amazing and smells good. Thanks!

They have cleaned our house carpets a few times due to heavy rains. Our sub pumps gave our twice so we needed them to come and fix the mess. They were very good and thorough, making sure it was as perfect as they could get it.
Tips & Advices
In most states, contractors are required to have a license before taking a job. Some states also require registration. To be licensed, contractors must pass an exam and meet certain qualifications that prove he or she is a competent flooring contractor. Registration is simply a list of who will be performing a job.
The time it takes to install flooring depends on the type of flooring and the size of the room or rooms involved in the project. In one day, a typical contractor can usually install up to 2,000 square feet of carpet, 600 square feet of hardwood or laminate, or 400 square feet of tile or stone.
  • Do you have a professional license, insurance, and a business liability policy?
  • Who will work on the project?
  • Do you subcontract, and do you screen workers and have insurance policies to cover them?
  • Do you have references or examples of your work I can see?
  • Do you charge for an in-home estimate?
  • What type of flooring is best for my home in terms of architectural consistency, environmental influences (such as whether a certain type of flooring will be affected by humidity in my area), and durability?
Legally, insurance is not necessary, but it's a good idea for flooring contractors to have it. When hiring a flooring contractor, ask whether the business is insured. If it's not, consider that a red flag.
A flooring contractor should know the pros and cons of each flooring option. These might include pricing, time of installation, durability, and average lifespan of the material.
