In September , 2015 I purchased over 2k worth of new merchandise. In my sales order was touch up paint for dining room buffet table clearly mark and spelled out that I purchased from Ashley prior in 2013. I never got the paint with my delivery and when I called, I was told that the warehouse manger said these special orders can take up to 3 months.. This happened on 3 occasions in 2015. Then, in October , 2015 I spoke with a Denise and she said she would get back to me. She did and left me a v/m , which I still have stating that the store manager was getting it for me that week. That was 7 months ago and I called again 3-4 times , spoke with her and also left messages for her to advise me of the status. If I ran my bank like this ( which I was the past president of ) it would go out of business in no time due to very poor service, customer service and name recognition.Can Corporate please look into this really bad performance from this Myrtle Beach, SC store and get my paint please !T J H

"DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THE "ROOMS TO GO" furniture store AND WE DO NOT RECCOMMEND this store located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (601 Market CT, Myrtle Beach, 29577) to anyone. Here is our adventure and as you can read from many other reviews, you will notice the similarities; Poor Service, condescending and aggressive manager (Bob Beadling), No customer service and broken furniture. Good luck in getting your money back, delivery of your purchased items and good luck in the customer service center.

No customers service, I would not recommend shopping at the Myrtle Beach store. I had bought several rooms of furniture to later find out items were back order. Because of the back order items multiple delivery dates were made 4 in total. Times were giving by Rooms to go 8am to 12 pm for delivery, 3 of the 4 delivery showed up approximately 9pm. When I called the 800 number for an ETA because they missed the 12pm mark, I was told "they would get there when they get there, and times were giving as a courtesy and are not accurate". They advertise great saving with whole room purchase, but there is no flexibility in furnishing a room, and the cost well exceeds the advertised price. I spent a lot of money in this store and got a lot of aggravation for it. I found the general manager, Bob to be ignorant and condescending.

We ordered bunk beds for our kids. We had to wait a few weeks for it to be delivered. This was for a vacation home, so we set up the delivery time over the Fourth of July. When the bed arrived, it was defective. The bed did not have holes drilled in four locations, so the delivery drivers had to leave it in pieces. RTG said it would take a week to get the new part. Instead of waiting a week, I drilled the holes myself and put it together in four hours.Also, the materials used in the bunk were scuffed and cracked in a few places and the overall quality was poor. It just doesn't look like what you see on the internet. I guess that is what happens when you buy something sight unseen. Finally, RTG called me five times on my cell phone and hung up every time. They were trying to set up a delivery time for the new parts and "were having problems with their long distance provider". When I finally spoke to someone about this, they were somewhat rude. In college, I bought some things from RTG that worked fine. However, I will not buy from them again.
