Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Service
Called Roto-Rooter because I had a really high water bill at my property. I live in Kentucky and use Roto-Rooter here and they always do a good job. Myrtle beach Roto-Rooter was no different. They fixed the problem, didn't try to oversell me, and charged a reasonable price. For people who don't have time to haggle and price shop these are the guys to call.

The biggest rip off in MB. Unprofessional, unqualified and extremely greedy. We have old AC unit which they didn't want or couldn't repair. They waneed only to replace it. 5 years passed and it is still working. They ripped off our neighbor old lady for $11.000 new unit. The are to be reported!!!!!

I had new counter tops put in through home repo and had to have the plumber come out also to hook the sink back up. I was not to happy when the plumber finally arrived from ARS Rescue Rooter at 6:50 pm when they were suppose to be her between 12-5. So when David got here he was so friendly and nice that he made me forget that I was not happy. He seems like he enjoys his job and has good customer service skills, so much so he offered me a price on a new faucet & he came back the next morning so I didn't have to wait like before and put it in. So over all the experience was great!!!

Watch out for their installation fees for add-ons they propose. A $325 UV system was installed at $1,600, with a $300 discount for having a maintenance contract. Had to contact their attorneys in Memphis to obtain a $1,300 refund. Also, during routine maintenance, the technician replace our expensive filtering system with their stock filter, which did not fit and allowed unfiltered (moldy) air to enter every vent in the house for over one year. That technician also did not notice the drain pan to have been broken inside the unit, which caused mold to grow inside the system and be carried into the house every time the air conditioning started.

Tips & Advices
Usually, a leaky or dripping faucet is an easy fix that can be done by anyone who is even slightly handy with tools.. To fix it, first shut off the water under the sink then remove any decorative parts of the faucet and replace the washer and O-ring before reassembling everything.
To keep yourself safe from fraud or a possible scam, always remember to ask plumbers for their license along with a written warranty for their labor. Besides this, further safeguard yourself by checking their references and ensure they or their company is insured and bonded to do their work.
If you're having hot water issues, you can examine the thermostat and adjust it accordingly. If you hear odd sounds coming from your water heater, it could be due to sediment building up. To get rid of this, make sure you clean out the heater every few months. However, if you hear a boiling noise, it could mean the heater is overheating and you should call a plumbing professional as soon as possible.
Frozen pipes are hazardous and can cause massive amounts of damage to your home. To prevent your pipes from freezing during the winter, run your faucets at a trickle and keep your house's heater at 55 degrees Fahrenheit or above to keep the water flowing.
  • Be mindful of how much water you use in your bathroom, kitchen and even outdoors when watering your lawn.
  • Make sure your toilet handle works properly and doesn't stick.
  • Replace old shower heads with more efficient low-flow options that can cut down on the gallons of water you use each morning.
  • Turning off the water while you brush your teeth
  • Only running your dishwasher or clothes washer when you have a full load.
