Jiffy Lube
My experience was 5 star. I have never experienced this level of customer service at ANY business.I was greeted AT MY CAR by Traven who informed me my oil change would only take 15 minutes. It took 18 because I added a few things. After inspecting my vehicle, Traven informed me my oil was quite clean and he believed I didn't need to change it for another 1000 miles. Honesty in a service business is much too rare. I decided to have the oil changed.Add on services are expected when having an oil change. I had them add transmission fluid for $3 and replace a windshield wiper blade for $14. Services are performed in full view of the customers waiting room. Everything compIete, a red carpet was literally unfurled as I entered my vehicle. I asked some questions:Do they great everyone at their car? Yes. Why do they greet everyone at their car? That's what they were trained to doUntil further notice, Jiffy Lube has my business. I recommend you give them yours.
Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
