I struggled to write this review as I think highly of the owner. Clinicians are qualified and caring. The problem, I believe, is with one member of the support team. She's rude, unprofessional, and over-steps her scope. It is 50-50 on wait times past your appointment, it is very clean, depending on who answers the phone (and the mood the woman is in) it will be a friendly-helpful encounter or not. Twice I had refill prescriptions called in wrong...and I mean the wrong medication was called in--one medication I don't even take and they had never prescribed for me; the second is a supplement that I DO take, but I can get in the vitamin shop. The first I called and had them correct the mistake (which they never corrected in my there's that), the second time, I just let it go and have found another physician. Hate it though; I found Dr. Hicks and Dr. Tessier to be fine clinicians--but I won't allow one Medical Assistant to endanger my health any further...not to mention treat me like she's doing ME a favor~

Internal Medicine Associates Walk in & Urgent Care Clinic
Out of state visitor, I contracted severe upper respiratory infection-found this clinic on the internet w/good map instr to location. I am a octogenarian and a type 2 Insulin dependent Diabetic and very particular regards medical services. Walked in found the intake staff, courteous and alert to my distress. Offered assist to fill out req paper work, processed me quickly thru vital stats procedure and the FNP Unyime Eyoh started exam within 10-15min, and was very attentive to my responses and made detail inquiries of prescribed medications as well as my general condition prior to the virus infection. Bottom Line: I left w/proper prescriptions and within four days greatly relived and on the mend - I seriously recommend this clinic and staff to anyone who needs immediate and diligent medical care.

E&R Urgent Care
I went to the clinic feeling like I had the flu. The team checked me in and got to me immediately. The staff were very professional and cared about my issues. Luckily they diagnosed my illness as a sinus infection and prescribed me the appropriate medication. I would recommend them to anyone.

Tips & Advices
Under most health insurance plans, urgent care visits will require a copay that is usually less expensive than emergency room visits, but more expensive than standard doctor visits - around $120 on average. Urgent care staff do not have much information regarding individual coverage, so be prepared and check with your insurance provider to understand costs.
It is common for urgent care physicians to recommend follow-up treatment after an initial visit. Most commonly, patients will be asked to return to the clinic or their primary care doctor if symptoms get worse or do not improve in a certain amount of time. Patients might be referred to a specialist for treatment of more complex conditions. Or patients may simply be given a few basic tips for recovering at home. In any case, patients should follow the doctor’s advice regarding next treatment steps.
If needed, urgent care doctors can prescribe medication to treat conditions. This may include antibiotics for an infection or pain medication for a broken bone. Be sure to follow the doctor’s instructions for taking these medicines.
Be sure to explain your symptoms to physicians in as much detail as possible. Note when or where the symptoms first appeared if possible. Inform urgent care staff of any medical conditions you may have, all allergies, and all medications you are currently taking. Also be sure to bring proper forms of identification, and any health insurance cards/information to help process your visit.
You should be able to find a 24-hour urgent care clinic by searching online resources such as Be sure the location is included in your health plan network before visiting.
