Carolina Cars Of Mt Pleasant
Me and my dad got both of our cars from Ken. He's very friendly and professional in his establishment, and has done a great job with working on our cars to keep them well maintained. His prices are great for repair work and always gets the job done quickly. Right now we're getting detail work done on our cars to make them look like brand new, he's shown us how that process is done and are eager to see the results!Would definitely recommend coming here for a new car or even to get some work done on a current one!

Yet another great car sale with Ken Smith. I have brought him family cars, cars I didn't even purchase from him, and he helped me fix them. Since he opened his first car lot, over 20 years ago, I have been one of his customers. This past car sale, I never write reviews, was wonderful. I am loving my car and have not experienced any problems. Although I know if I were to have any complications, Ken would gladly help me out. Honest guy

I had a really bad experience at this car dealership a few weeks back. They actually tried to play the bait and switch with the sales manager walking out and giving me no reason why he low balled my trade in on my car. They never inspected my vehicle nor drove it. But that's what they do these days. Your trade in is either a commodity or going to be sold wholesale. It was really my fault to walk on a lot blind, them not giving me the price on the vehicle I test drove, and then coming back with a price that was above retail on a car that had 7800 miles on it and a dent in the passenger side door. Though it's amazing that I found the price on the vehicle on my phone and was blown away when they came back with their offer. I felt for the sales guy for he had done nothing wrong. It was the analytic Sales Manager that literally walked away when I told him I'm not going to haggle over this deal. Bully for you that you can ask above retail prices on cars and sheeple pay for it. I work too hard for my money to hand it over to this car dealership for them to receive a gouging profit.

Mr.Steven Richburg is the consummate VW salesman - knowledgeable, no pressure, exceeded my expectations. I was looking at many different makes and it's amazing what you find out there for a Salesman. Steven was different he knew the brand, He has the knowledge of the vehicles, I also liked how nice he is if you are looking for any type of vehicle a new volkswagen or just a used car go see him you will be glad you did.

We can attest to Ken Smith's generous and caring character. On Sunday morning on his way to church he stopped to offer his time and assistance. His family stopped at the gas station and ended up helping fix our breaking bike rack on our car. He drove to the store to help get ties and tie up our bike rack so we would have a safe trip back to Tennessee. This is a person of character and integrity you can trust.

Regarding Mamma's Used Cars...You are absolutely entitled to charge (too much in this case) for your used cars, but the experience I shared today with my family with the Used Car Sales Mgr and his sales rep was beyond acceptable. 1. Greet your Customer Properly. When a potential customer arrives, they are not their to "sing", "shuck and jive", or mess around. If your idea of warming them up is any of these things... strike one. 2. Get the price right. I already stated your prices are marked on the hide side. When a customer asks, "What will you take for this?" Answer them... don't play stump the chump. You are in business to make money, that I understand, but snake-oil sales men went out in the 80's... "what are you willing to pay" went out some time ago. 3. Sales Managers should be professional. When you approach, don't keep playing the game. Get to the bottom line and be professional about it. Then, when you are asked to stop, don't get attitude, and murmor and show your rear with your employee. have you forgotten how we are in a connected world. My advice, take some lessons from your Service Department. They have do an awesome job. Either that, or go work at Taco Bell, because what I experienced today is NOT at all what I want to do business with... you see I have choices as well and if you do a good job, I may tell 5 people, but when you act this way, I will ensure thousands hear about it.

Bought a 2006 volvo s40 2.4i ended up having to spend over 7,000$ in repairs. The sun roof leaked terribly 300$ right there, then had to get the water sucked up from the carpets which were drenched and stank another couple hundred. The wind shield wiper fluid motor was broken another 300$, the engine mount was cracked and broke 1 month in and crushed the axle and needed all new belts, a new axle and several other new parts. eventually it all added up to over 7,000$ in repairs for a 13,000$ car, they refused to pay for any of it, I had also bought the top of the line warranty they offered which conveniently covered nothing. Strongly recommend NOT buying from this dealer.

Just a moment...
