My wife and I dinned here while on our anniversary trip to the Charleston area. We requested dining with a view and got a great seat with a perfect view of the sunset right over Shem Creek. The food was plentiful and delicious. I had the stuffed flounder which was full of LOTS of crab stuffing, scallops, and LARGE shrimp. I actually got full to the point I had no room for dessert. This was our first night in the area and this meal was a great start to a great trip.

Fine dining, without the white table clothes, at a reasonable price. You won't go wrong finding your way to this "off the the main drag" restaurant. The food is excellent, all of it! By far the best fried green tomatoes, yet. Our family of 4 bill was $75.00 before tip. The only slight down side, was the service could have a little more attentive. (did not keep the drink glasses filled to my desire) . Great job! chefs. P.S. casual dress.

A bit pricey, but soooo worth it! 1. Try the mac & cheese. 2. Add lobster. 3. Get over the fact that the lobster is $15 extra, on top of the $10 for the mac & cheese itself. 4. Thank me after you're done enjoying the yummalicious goodness. Crave's mac & cheese was voted best by GQ for a reason. Experience it for yourself. Every visit I've made here has been excellent. All the food I've had has been delicious. The serve has always been great as well. You can't go wrong.

Went to the Harbor Breeze today for Lunch ( $ 7 - 20 + Menu ) with no Southern Seafood limited menu with a few Apt., two Soups, two Salads, three Burgers and some Dinner Items. I ordered a Caesar Salad with Chicken ( $ 9.00 ) that was so salty I had to send it back. The place looks nice and clean but lacked in the menu. The thing that irks me the most is I posted a comment on the Restaurant page and they took it down. I will not go back. Misleading if they put post they like only.

I love Italian food. I spent a year in Italy, so I get really excited when I have really good Italian food. This place is great. It's always busy, but we always manage to get a table really quickly. THe waiters are very professional and prompt. The portions are huge. We usually have leftovers. I reccommend having the lamb. I typically stick to the specials that they have, cause they are fresh (and u can tell the cooks like to make those dishes). I also reccommend having any of their desserts. They're huge. My husband's favorite is a pecan torte, and incredibly rich cake that tastes like coffee, chocolate, and nuts. I personally like the hummingbird cake and the key lime pie. This restaurant and I believe Mustard Seed and Boulevard Diner (also good places) and some other bakery are all owned by the same person. They all have good desserts.

I've been here twice. Neither time was amazing, but the experiences weren't bad either. This most recent time (7/3/16), most of the people in our party tried the Sunday brunch buffet. The highlight of the buffet was the omelette station--I had one with shrimp, mushrooms, spinach, tomato, and cheddar cheese. It was the only thing I ate entirely. The cheddar grits were good (I ate 80% of it). My 2 1/2 year old niece took my biscuit from me, so I can't speak on how it was (it looked good, though.) The Hubs said that he didn't like the breakfast potatoes. We both agreed the waffles were better than the french toast. The bacon was yummy, too. But the buffet was only $16.95 with $2 mimosas, so for that reason I'd definitely come back. Plus the restaurant itself is nice, and the views of Shem Creek are lovely. So I still feel it's a good restaurant to visit overall.

I don't normally(ever) write reviews, but this place was very good. I went to Yamato with a friend who is big on sushi. I read a couple of reviews and was less than jazzed about going, but he insisted it was good and that anyone can write those things. That is why I decided to write a review. I know sushi and the first thing you try is the tamago(egg nigiri). Most places use frozen pre-packaged egg omelet. The theory is that if they take the time to cook the tamago "in house" then, chances are, they don't cut corners on quality. There were no corners cut here. After the tamago checked out, I moved on to tuna sashimi, which was the best I've had in a while. Then a couple of house specialty rolls one I think was called a P daddy roll,"very tasty"(insert asian accent). Looking forward to trying the Hibachi next time. Service was good and the people were friendly etc. Anyway, don't listen to me, try them yourself.

The Wreck is one of those ""Don't Judge the Book by the Cover"" restaurants. Even when you find the place, you still are not sure you at the right place. Recommendation - have a local take you or find it in daylight hours. That being said, the FOOD is superb. You start you meal with a paper menu to circle your order while you munch on the best boiled peanuts. My companion had the scallops and I had the broiled shrimp and fried oysters. I am not a ""fried"" person, they were hands down absolutely delicious. If this same meal where served at one of the upscale restaurants downtown Charleston, you could expect to pay 3x the amount.

Used to love this place. However, just went for Thanksgiving and was extremely disappointed. Food was lazy, desserts were from Costco, salad was lettuce poured from a bag. I was floored! Won't be back.

My mom won a free happy hour special for her and 9 other people, courtesy of Burtons Grill #woot It included 1 free cocktail per person and a sampling of appetizers for the group (two orders each of Memphis Dry Rub Wings, Philly Spring Rolls, Buffalo Chicken Dip). Let me back up a bit and say that the cocktails were awesome and potent. Everyone had nothing but positive things to say about what they ordered to sip. I had the Burtons Mai Tai (for my first round and third rounds...hey, it was a holiday weekend #dontjudgeme) and the Brazilian Punch (which definitely packed a punch and looked really cool with its crushed ice and purple hue). Our wait staff brought out rolls for us to munch on while we waited for the appetizers. I'd go back to Burtons for the rolls alone. But not only were the rolls amazing, so were the appetizers. We ended up ordering even more apps after the free ones we had. Unfortunately, I was too stuffed to order any of the entrees. Fortunately, that gives me a valid reason to return the next time I'm home. On top of the great drinks and food, the service we received was some of the best I've ever had. You'd think that they wouldn't care since we were there eating and drinking for free. But the staff was excellent from start to finish. Bravo Burtons!

I have been to Langdon's several times and every time I come away more impressed. I went there this past Saturday evening and it was great as always. I ate at Penninsula Grill the night before so I feel like I hada good comparison. Langdon's was better. I got the Ahi Tuna and it was unbelievable. My date had the tenderloin and it was terrific as well. The service is great, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the wine selection is as good as anywhere in Mt. P. I recommend Langdons over any place in Mt. Pleasant or downtown.

I'm still sitting in the booth writing this because I couldn't wait to say how wonderful this place is! I have had the worst luck in finding good seafood in charleston sc and I stopped here by chance and I am so glad I did!!! I had a shrimp blt and a side salad and my mother had the shrimp n grits. Everything was amazing! U can actually taste the freshness in the vegetables and the shrimp. Excellent place I can't say enough about it!

This used to be a nice french restaurant. It is now newly remodeled and has great atmosphere. The food was sooo good. My wife and I split a goose liver pate, which was so creamy and good, although we had to ask for additional bread to spread it on. Our entree's were also exquisite. It was very crowded at the bar, in the middle of the week at 7PM. The dessert menu looked great but we were both too full. I would highly recommend this place.

I can't believe I'm just making my way here after all of these years. Perhaps my taste buds needed to grow up, so that I could appreciate what's served here. My mom and I came here for lunch, at her suggestion. I knew we were in for fresh food and great, unique options. And I was right. My only "complaint" is that my panini didn't really look like a pressed sandwich to me. But the ingredients were good. My mom ordered a seared Ahi Tuna salad, which I sampled. It was very delicious. I knew I should've ordered it! The service was excellent from the time we walked in. My more sophisticated palate enjoyed a nice outing.
