Trust Auto Center - We Build Engines & Transmissions
I was recommended by a friend to this business and I am so grateful. I am a female single parent and I’ve had several bad experiences at other repair facilities; therefore, I was a little concerned, but after Trust Auto Center helped me I will never go anywhere else.Trust Auto Center did a comprehensive check on my car and gave me an estimate; however, they did not know that I had just left another shop. They found more problems than the other shop, but their estimate was $165 cheaper than the other shop. I still did not have all the money for the repairs, because I had been unemployed for a long time and just got a new position. The owner heard of my situation and came to discuss the estimate with me. He said he was raised by a single parent and wanted to help me. He offered me $400 off so that I could have my car completely repaired and start my new job. I am so grateful. Most shops have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge but Mr. Perry and his shop explained, in great detail, what was wrong with my car and then helped me by giving me large discount. I am emotional just typing this, we need one of these shops everywhere they really care about their customers. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Trust auto Center! I don’t want or expect another discount, but I will always bring my car here and I hope you do the same. I working, my car is running great, and I and my kids or so thankful to Perry and Trust Auto Center.

Gregg's Auto Repair
Wow! I can't say enough about Greg's Auto Repair and Greg! He is a Christian of honesty and integrity, and a great mechanic! I decided to try him out after having a lot of issues with the old shop I was using that was overcharging me and treating me poorly. I also suspect that they told me I needed major work done that I didn't really need. Greg fixed an oil and transmission fluid leak (from a recently replaced engine at my former shop) for free. He changed a wheel bearing for much less than other quotes. He got to the root of a nagging issue causing my check engine light to come on and our car to stall (and since it didn't require parts, he also didn't charge for that). He has been an answer to prayer after spending well over $4K on our two cars in the last few months for repairs prior to trying his shop! My only regret is that I didn't find his shop sooner. Check him out- you will thank me!

NTB National Tire & Battery
I used to love this place, but they are just plain slow, no more walking in and get service, now you have to make an appointment for just about everything, they are always understaffed with techs and the service is just horrible, I had a appointment for tire rotation and balance and alignment for my Volvo, it took over an hour to get a simple rotation and balance and they did not have a tech for the alignment. Keep in mind I came Friday morning to start with and now it's Sunday night and I still have to comeback for alignment. This place is a big inconvenience. How are they still in business. No, I would not recommend this place to anyone, by the way, I took my vehicle across the street to a haveline express lube and got oil change and transmission service in 45 mins, now that's service.

Auto Air South
Thank You!!!! Auto Air, I have a new baby and the air went out in my car. My friend told me about them and she was right they are good!!! They did a diagnostics ($65.00) and at first I thought it was alot but in the end it goes towards your repair bill. My A/C compressor locked up, they did a great job of keeping me informed and they said it would take 2 days to have it repaired because they were backed up I spoke to the manager and explained it's my only car and I have a new baby and she was able to get it done in a day. They are not the cheapest but it does get done right and they do stand behind there work with 1 yr parts/labor warranty :-))). Thank You Auto Air South!

T And D Auto Repair
I have used T & D Auto Repair on many occasions. The owner is very knowledgeable and has never failed to diagnose to the problem. I first encountered this business after visiting a neighboring competitor, who could not find the problem. I rang T&D and found the owner to be pleasant and able to correct the issue. Since then, he has fixed many things for me from a timing chain to a transmission swap for my vehicle. This level of mechanical expertise is rare these days, as I have found most shops employ "part changers" disguised as true mechanics. T&D finds the root of the problem and solves the issue with prices that are more than fair. Good Job Guys, You have my business!

Gregg's Auto Repair
My husband and I brought our car to Greg and his shop last week and unfortunately it was uncovered that our transmission was shot, valve cover gaskets and two motor mounts needed replacing. The immaculate customer service my husband received alone was impeccable. His ethics, especially this day in time, are exceeding in every area. Before we took our car here, we read some reviews and he definitely stands by every single word on these reviews. The prices are phenomenal, the car was fixed in an extremely timely manner and I definitely think it's safe to say Greg, you ARE THE WINKLER'S NEW MECHANIC!

Trust Auto Center - We Build Engines & Transmissions
I brought my Toyota to this dealership for two issues.1) transmission: Melvin was able to locate a transmission for my car when several other transmission shops could not and guarentee the work for a longer period of time also. The transmission so far is solid. 2) Front wheel bearings. My car was suffering from extemely loud "road noise" and they gave me a good price and Chad and crew did an excellent job. We test drove it together and I am very satisfied with the work and price. Thanks!

Lake City Transmission Service
This shop overdelivered and underpromised. They are not cocky but convinced they can handle any transmission problem. I had an unusal issue, the first time I called the guy I spoke with said "bring it in, we can fix anything"☺. The second time I called I got the owner, he found a reasonbly priced, but hard to find replacement in less than half an hour. I hope to not have anymore transmission issues but if I, or anyone i know does, I'm headed, or sending that person, to Lake City transmission.

Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
