Harris, Dennis MD
This is one place that loves to drive your bill up and up. They require you to see their physical therapist and psychologist. They also don't start helping you until your second visit with them and then their help is very minimal. I've been going to pain management for 11 years and just moved here. So my treatment requires medications and surgery. They were uncooperative with previous medical records and wanted to start me out on step 1 when I've been on like step 7 for years. This didn't help me at all just went backwards after years of treatment. The doc also has 4 nurse practitioners that can't do anything without talking to him. This makes the appointments take about 2 hours to complete. They got upset with me because I had my own psychiatrist and physical therapist and told them that I would like to see mine instead of theirs and they had a fit. It's all a money making scheme and waste of your time to see them. After 3 months of visits to the nurse practitioner, psychologist and physical therapist they still hadn't treated me. Run to another doc as fast as you can!

I wouldn't recommend this doctor period. Her Morristown office smells of mold and the equipment is very outdated. My friend had to have surgery, which was done in Knoxville in some eye center that reeked of mold, so much so it was rather difficult for me to breathe and I don't have allergies. The next day we expressed concerns about his eye because it was still extremely sore and was oozing. She said it was normal. Kept calling her with concerns. Got the run around. A week later I take him to see her and she told him to go see a retina specialist, like right now. Turned out all our concerns were completely valid. He had a massive infection inside the eye. Could have lost vision and/or the eye it's self.

Dr. Eric G Delay, MD
I really like Dr. Delay, and he's really good with my daughter. The only bad part is that we rarely see him. My daughter is 2, and we've probably not seen him in over a year now. It's always someone else. I'm still giving 5 stars bc he's really great, and this is a review for him and not necessarily the office.

Maran Siva MD
My husband was scheduled for a colonoscopy. He was told to be there at 10am and the procedure was supposed to begin at 10:30am. We were advised by a staff member at the hospital that Dr. Maran is notorious for being late. We figured it would be 20min or so late, but no! At 12:00pm, the doctor had still not shown up to the hospital and all of the staff made it clear that this was normal. At that point, my husband had not eaten in 36 hrs and his blood sugar was at 50! Needless to say, we left!!!! I have heard from several people that he is not good to staff and clearly has no respect for anyone but himself. If you are going to be that late, you should call, reschedule, etc., but we got nothing! We do not recommend him to our dog!!!!

Lakeway Family Clinic
Honestly I wouldn't recommend this facility. Period. The office staff can't seem to keep things straight. And they diagnosed my boyfriend with HIV and he didn't have it(confirmed 2 times from health dept after diagnosis). There were several times that the office made appointments to other doctors but when we arrived for our appointment we were told it was for another date and time. Plus it took a solid month to get authorization for medical equipment that was desperately needed. Lol and to top that off.....the nurse we just saw today was rude. We will NOT be going back there.

Hina Kouser MD
LOVE Dr Kouser. I've been seeing her for about 12 years now. She listens to my issues and takes time to talk them out with me to come up with the best cure. She's very intelligent and has a loving personality to match. I would recommend her to anyone. :)

This doctors group will close the doors to a facility with out notifying their patients in advance or after. This says way to much for me to continue to support a company that has such little regard for my health.

Gordon Marilyn MD
Was there for just a check up. No symptoms at all and she asked me if I'd let her do exploratory surgery. Uh, YIKES. Didn't go back. FYI, I didn't have a problem, that was several years ago, and still no health problem.

I went in for a simple out-patient surgery with Dr. Crawford, an arrogant man with a terrible bed-side manner. He did not complete the job and I will have to have the surgery again. If you need surgery, do not use these guys!
Tips & Advices
A child should see his or her pediatrician frequently during the first few years. Once the child reaches age 3, parents should schedule a doctor's visit at least once per year. Before that, however, the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests parents arrange visits according to the following schedule:
  • 2 to 5 days old
  • 1 month old
  • 4 months old
  • 6 months old
  • 9 months old
  • 12 months old
  • 15 months old
  • 24 months old (2 years)
  • 30 months old (2.5 years)
No, parents should call 911, an emergency physician, or a pediatric emergency physician if a child suffers an acute illness or injuries. Doctors in these fields are more qualified than pediatricians to handle emergency situations.
A well-visit is a routine visit with a pediatrician to track a child's development, discuss medical or emotional concerns, and receive immunizations and medical advice.
Yes, pediatricians provide immunizations for infants and children up through 21 years.
No, pediatricians do not have to be board certified. They're only required to have a state license. However, certification indicates a dedication to studying pediatrics beyond the requirements.
