Sears Optical
I have worked for the company and shopped there for years. They are wonderful!! They can't give out trials because people LOVE to take advantage of it. Winter is a wonderful manager and she is so helpful. Everyone always had wonderful things to say and have been coming there for over 10 years just because of her and her employees. Our lunch breaks were an hour because it was mandatory and still is due to home office telling us we had too. Which means we have to close the store down so people wouldn't come in and think we were open and stand around wanting on us. We put up our lunch sings to let everyone know when we would be back. Unless there were two of us working (which was rare) then we would take turns. I loved having my customers come back year after year. I will miss them all!!

They have the best selection of glasses in Morgantown. They even ordered glasses for me in another color that wasn't in stock and showed me several options because I wanted a color that would stand out. The location is really convenient for me as a student and there was no wait time the doctor saw me right away. Overall it was a very personal experience and I would highly recommend going.

Mountaineer Vision Ctr
My husband and I have went to this office two years in a row. Both years we were impressed with Dr. Robinson; however, his office staff are a joke. Both years we have continued to get bills months later for varying amounts. Both years, I have done the math on the bills and they don't add up. I swear it's like his billing department is ran by monkeys! They have no clue what they are doing!

Mountaineer Vision Ctr
Calm down... I've been going here for years, they are great.
Tips & Advices
While the first appointment is the most comprehensive, the majority of appointments with an ophthalmologist begin with a basic eye exam followed by a refraction to test if glasses are needed. Other tests might include an eye muscle coordination exam, a check of pupil response and peripheral vision, slit lamp microscope test to look at the anterior segment of the eye, and an intraocular pressure assessment.
Most eye doctors will charge different amounts for their services, but a basic eye exam with an ophthalmologist can range from $50 to $300. Additional tests and treatment will add to the price.
Ophthalmology subspecialties include strabismus/pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, retina/uveitis ophthalmology, cornea/anterior segment ophthalmology, ophthalmic plastic surgery, and reconstruction.
Ophthalmologists can diagnose macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, ocular albinism, vitreous traction, cataracts, astigmatism, myopia, retinoblastoma, and many more.
The most popular ophthalmology procedures are cataract, laser eye treatment, and glaucoma surgeries.
