Paul Henry Kidd, Jr
I cannot praise Paul and his assistant Lisa enough! I am a father to 2 children with my youngest now being 16. I and my wife have had my youngest daughter since her mother abandoned her at age 12 and moved to another town 4 hours away. She has had little to no contact with her what so ever not phone calls or visits just random text messages. We waited 2 years to begin this process hoping that she would step up and be a parent but with the passing of time we decided it was time to contact Mr. Kidd. I never even considered another lawyer as I have heard many people tell of his history to fight for the rights of a parent especially a fathers rights which many lawyers will not do. They have the assumption that the mother is the primary choice when in fact it has become more and more proven that the father in a lot of cases are more prone to be the better caregiver. Long story short many of you know that it is a battle for a father to gain custody of a child much less to be awarded child support. We have been fighting this since last July and it is still ongoing but Mr. Kidd and Lisa have fought for us every step of the way. They have gone above and beyond our expectations and the fight is still ongoing due to her lack of submitting records and continuously delaying our case. Much to her surprise she is not only being considered to be in contempt of court for delaying this matter but every attempt she has made to stall or completely get out of her parental role both by her presence in her life and financially. The cost for his expertise is worth every penny and the best way I can describe him is a pit bull. He will fight to the bitter end for the rights of the children whether it is for the mother or father. He is not afraid to step out of the circle to take on a case I have found most lawyers wont due to societies way of thinking. He is open minded, thorough and by far the man for the job. He will not stop until justice has been done. He is very professional and not only answers your questions but questions sometimes only a person in the legal field would know to ask. ANY OTHER LAWYER WOULD BE A WASTE OF YOUR TIME AND MONEY IN OUR OPINION WHEN IT COMES TO THE INTEREST OF OUR CHILDREN!

Murray H Cameron Attorney At Law
Cameron Murray’s Law office is a great firm to work with. If you are EVER in the need of a Criminal Defense Attorney this is definitely with no doubt who you want! Cameron and his staff are very knowledgeable and customer orientated. Cameron is very personable but most of all very professional and I loved having on my side. His knowledge of the law was very impressive and his resources seemed endless. I would and will recommend Cameron law firm to all my family and friends but most of all to anyone in the area in need of the best legal team on their side! The outcome of my cases turned out unbelievable all due to Mr. Murray’s relentless pursuit of my case. I hope I never need to use and attorney again but if I do Cameron Murray’s Law Office will be the first and only call I make! When I was arrested I felt so violated from being put in the position I was in and thought my biggest hope was to be found guilty of a crime that I didn’t commit, but with Cameron Superior knowledge of the law as well as his OUTSTANDING ability to vigorously argue in my defense the trail was over within minutes of getting started. I was able to completely keep it off my record. Something I never thought possible!Lastly, Cameron took away nearly all of the stress and fear that came with being charged with a crime. From our very first conversation he assured me that I didn't have to worry about my case because he had it covered. He was worth every penny because he kept me informed, never judged me, and kept the charge off of my record.

Paul Henry Kidd, Jr
First, and foremost, I have to begin by expressing my immense appreciation, respect, and gratitude to Mr. Paul, for his tenacity, and dedication in pursuing justice for my children, as well as myself. Also, I must give Mrs. Lisa, in the office, a big "thank-you," for being so kind, and available when I needed it the most. When the decision was made that divorce was the only option I knew immediately who to contact, Paul Kidd Jr. I had heard through both personal friends, and the community, that he was the BEST attorney for the job, and he has far exceeded that reputation, in my opinion. I spent the past few years being afraid, worried, and insecure about where to turn for help, and who could guide me through this mess. From our first meeting I knew Mr. Kidd was invested in my case, and was going to do everything possible to seek out what was in the best interest of my children. I am extremely proud to answer the question,"who is your attorney?" when anyone asks, because I know I have an all-star team on my side. Thank you again Mr. Paul, and Mrs. Lisa on behalf of my children, and myself. I am holding my head a little higher these days, and I could not have done it without you.

I don't know where to begin... First of all I would like to start with saying I was one of you searching for someone who cared in Monroe. I have had 1 attorney that just didn't work out. I read each and every review on here and made the call. Also in my decision making I had others who referred me to Kidd. Lisa and Paul are pretty straight shooters and don't sugar coat anything. I know i wore both of them out at times but he covered everything that mattered to me. He is objective and goal driven. I have been in the Ouachita Parish Hearing officer room 10 times in the last 6 years and this was by far the easiest experience. I honestly felt like we had our backs against the wall stopping my ex to relocate with the children, and Kidd did what he needed to do to make my children happy and remain with their friends and family in Louisiana rather than a state they knew nobody. It seemed that Paul Kidd was more excited than I was. I was still under the shock of it all but to see an attorney excited about more than a "W" was something I have never experienced. I hope my review helps you make a smart decisions as others did for me.

Absolutely the best attorney you will ever find! I promise!!! Do not waste your time and money on any other attorney! Over the past two years I have had nothing but disappointment out of my previous attorney and legal process of my divorce, property settlement and child custody case. Emotionally exhausted and feeling defeated I called Paul Kidd Jr to make an appointment. To my surprise unlike other attorneys, he called me back personally and took the time to listen to my concerns. From the time I left my consultation with Paul I felt a huge sense of relief...after a horrible two year process of nothing but disappointment I had finally found someone that would stand up and fight for myself and my children. I brought him what I looked at as a legal mess and he fixed everything! It’s unbelievable what a great attorney can do. He is very knowledgeable and has the best interest of his clients. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in need of a great attorney. Paul I can’t say enough good things about you! Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication to my case.

DEADBEAT DAD ESCORTED OUT IN HANDCUFFS AFTER BEING GRILLED ON THE WITNESS STAND BY MR. KIDD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I recently found myself in the unfortunate situation of needing an attorney. I made the mistake assuming any attorney would suffice, and I couldn't have been more wrong. My needs and concerns were not being met, nor did I feel I was being treated like I mattered. I then made the decision to use Paul Kidd Jr. Within the first conversation we had, I knew I had made the right choice. He always listened, made time for me and treated my situation as if it were his own. Paul always made me feel reassured, regardless of the difficulty of my case. Things could not have worked out better for me and my custody situation. Attention to detail and actually caring about my case, resulted in all my requests being met and to boot, my ex was escorted out of the courthouse in handcuffs and off to jail!!! Thank you Paul!!! I hope I never need an attorney again, but if I do I will definitely use him again.

I would like to start by personally thanking Lisa and Mr. Kidd for their hard work and dedication to their job. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for me and my children. I was a nervous wreck throughout my entire divorce proceedings, but Mr. Kidd took great care of me and helped me more than he will ever know. He's a very confidant lawyer and he has a right to be!! I would advise him to anyone who needs a great lawyer!! He cares about his clients and takes them personally under his wing. He deserves every penny he earns!! You WILL NOT regret hiring him to be your lawyer. Within the course of months, people have asked me if a knew of a good lawyer and the same name comes out of my mouth every single time: Paul Henry Kidd Jr., I also tell them they wont regret it. Best custody lawyer!! He knows the law like the back of his hand. You want the best? Get Mr. Kidd, you won't go wrong. If I could give him 10+ stars I would!! THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!

Murray H Cameron Attorney At Law
Cameron H. Murray has been my attorney for 13 years. He has represented me in all my cases except 1. All the cases he represented me on I never was convicted of anything. He is such a good attorney that I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. The 1 case he didn't represent me on I ended up getting a conviction due to the fact that I did not use him. If you want a loyal attorney and one who will always have your best interest at heart then you would want to hire him. Hes very committed to his cases as well as very compassionate to his clients. He has represented me at least 10 different times and never have I gone to jail due to his representation. He has always gotten me out. He knows the law better than any attorney I have ever done business with.

Paul Henry Kidd, Jr
I have been familiar with Paul and his law firm for over 10 years now. Through those years I have utilized his services with much satisfaction and success. His professionalism and ability to get the job done effectively place him in the upper 1% of his business competition. Knowing other attorneys on a personal and professional basis I can say without hesitation that Paul Kidd, Jr. is in another class all together when it comes to delivering legal services in his area of expertise. Although his services are worth every dime, his concern lies with your needs not your pocket book. I recommend him to anyone with a domestic or legal issue that needs a fast and comprehensive resolution.Dr. Dallas Humble

Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as yellowpages.com. You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.

Just a moment...
