I have to admit, I was mortified when I learned that my 5 yr old needed 2 fillings, after never having had a cavity, but such is life...it happens! The two ladies that worked with my daughter were AMAZING! They put she and I at ease the minute we walked into the room! It was remarkable how they talked to her while working with her, in a way in which she wasn't afraid, apprehensive, or in any way uncomfortable throughout the entire procedure...it's obvious that these ladies truly love what they do, as it is made apparent by the quality of care they provide! A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Miss Crystal "Critter" & Dr. Zachary "Dr.Z"...you ladies truly do make a difference, and are appreciated more than you know!

Dr. Lane and Crystal Benson are the Absolute BEST!! Crystal took the time to talk with my son and build a relationship with him prior to the procedure. He was very anxious about the procedure but she tried to help him relax before the procedure. She asked him questions and was genuinely invested in him as a patient. Dr. Lane’s bedside manner is AMAZING!! He took the time to address my concerns about the procedure and also addressed concerns about a previous visit. He made sure that I understood my son’s needs and made recommendations that I appreciated. I am very pleased with Kool Smiles and will recommend them to anyone seeking dental care for their child.

I took my kids to Kool Smiles in Monroe today for their first appointment. Every one on their staff was very friendly, and were very good with the kids. the hygienist Laura was very educational when teaching them how to properly brush and floss. The Dental Assistants Chela and Emily were very understanding of our needs and worked well with the kids. The check in out at the front desk was very pleasant thanks to Jasmin. i will be bring my kids back for their future dental needs.

Well I made a wise choice changing dentist for my child. They are definitely the sweetest staff I have ever dealt with. Dr. Lane and Crystal B. were amazing at making my child feel at ease going through his procedure. Let's just say with the combination of the great staff and my son it was definitely memorable. They got along great. My son is looking forward to his next dentist appointment. Lol. I definitely recommend going to Kool Smiles!!!! We left with a

I cannot say enough great things about the entire staff! We went in for a toothache, and despite being very busy, they managed to get every procedure done for my daughter so we wouldn't have to come back and miss school. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Now I am going to make an appointment for myself! I don't even care if my insurance is accepted or not... Once you find such amazing people to work with, it's worth the price!

It was a very pleasant experience for both my child and myself. Making the appointment was extremely easy, finding the location was easy, the staff were very curtious and helpful and the Dr. was easy to understand with explaining the right route to go with my child's dental appointments to keep from having future problems. The overall experience with kool smiles was great! I highly recommend using this dental facility.

I was surprised with our experience this time around because our last time was horrible with wait time. They had us in so fast that my son was disappointed because he was having so much fun playing in the waiting area. Sierra was nice, showing my son everything she was going to do for his xrays. We loved Ms. Laura. She was so sweet and very patient with my son, who was nervous as could be.

Bagwell, Jan DDS
I originally went to Dr. Bagwell Family Dentistry because it was the only office in the area that would take my insurance. However, I am very glad that I ended up there because Dr. Bagwell, as well as the rest of the staff turned out to be great. I don't ever have to wait too long in the lobby and my appointments are virtually painless.

Peach Tree Dental Monroe
My experience was great! I felt welcomed from the second I walked in. The Dr. told me what he thought is best for me and then I talked with a lady who went over all the fees with me. After agreeing to the fees, they worked me in on the same day for my treatment. Thank you guys for helping fix my smile and for all that you guys do :)
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
