Beckham's Florist & Gifts
I spoke with Sherhea today and seriously I want that gal to be my best friend. She was so helpful, sweet, and professional. She knew just want I needed for a company sympathy arrangement. I have complete confidence in her and her company! So happy I went with Beckhams.

Beckham's Florist & Gifts
You would think I have known Ms. Sherhea all of my 26 years life. This past week, I called Beckham’s Florist and Gifts in Mobile with a vision. My friend’s father passed away. He and her family are Alabama fans, so I figured a plant or arrangement with a big houndstooth bow would do the trick. I gave Ms. Sherhea a budget and she made the unthinkable happen. The arrangement that she created killed what I had envisioned. It was much grander than an arrangement with a houndstooth bow. She is truly gifted and she cannot possibly meet strangers. I have NEVER experienced customer service that is comparable to hers. She was personable… We had a few laughs… Shared experiences… and I know that her arrangement will make my friend feel the love during one of the toughest times she will encounter. When I go to Mobile in the future, I literally have to stop by and show her my appreciation. Weird but true, all of this happened via telephone without a face. I rarely leave ratings, but I absolutely had to per my experience. You will not be disappointed if you shop here! I would give her an A++++++++++ if I had to grade her. She is as good as it gets and is officially my FAVORITE floral and gift shop. SHOP HERE!

Flower Fantasies Florist and Gift
A disappointment on so many levels. I requested a custom arrangement for my significant other. I provided a detailed list of flower typed and quantities. I went as far as to meet with the owner to ensure my arrangement was done correctly. After being quoted $150 + tax + delivery, I paid in full and waited in eager anticipation. When the day came, what was delivered was the ugliest arrangement I have ever paid for. I did not know it was possible to screw up flowers. Instead of 12 roses, I got 8. Instead of 6 Calla Lilies, I got 4. This theme continued for every flower type. The owner (aka The Weakest Link) promised me a $30 combined credit to "make things right." When I tried to use the credit, she refused to honor it in full unless my purchase was greater than $100. An unprofessional, dishonest entity that makes subpar arrangements is the best description of this place. They only got a star because Yelp would not let me give a negative value of stars.

Beckham's Florist & Gifts
After looking through floral arrangements online all night, and seeing the same arrangements on every florists Web page in Mobile County. I returned to reading reviews on Beckham Florists & gifts. I must say that as soon as I walked in I was greeted and helped. I was in need of an arrangement to help brighten the day of a young lady that just gave birth. Within minutes they put together a big beautiful arrangement. I was impressed and it was very affordable. I loved their gift shop and found her sweet baby boy a few gifts, that they beautifully wrapped. Thank you Beckham Florist and gifts for becoming my favorite new place to shop. Very professional!

We asked for superman's symbol for a 21 yr who died from cancer. We got a very poorly made what was supposed to be his cape. The flowers poor quality, different color reds, you could see the foam underneath and it didn't look like a cape! She offered only an apology. This was tge only wreath he got and we couldn't leave it out bc it was so bad!!

Flower Fantasies Florist and Gift
UNPROFESSIONAL! The delivery was for me (supposed to be a surprise as I would assume most are) and she called me that morning to ask how late I would be at work. She never told me where she was calling from, only that she was "a florist". She finally showed up 20 minutes before I told her I would be leaving and 7 hours after she called me that morning. She called two more times for directions, even though she told me she had a GPS in her van. When I answered, she said "hey girl I can't find ya work." When she walked in she complained about the order and the location of delivery. (This is a major business but it is difficult to get to on a major service road in rush hour traffic. Which would have been avoided by an earlier delivery.) She made it clear that this order was inconvenient for her and she definitely ruined the surprise for me. The main flowers in the arrangement were a little wilted but still very pretty. However, the filler flowers looked more like weeds and were dead.

I ordered flowers for my client/friends birthday. She loved them and so did her office staff! I will be using them again, delivery is same day.

called from out of stat to order arrangement for a dear friend's father's funeral. Sherhea couldn't have been more helpful and I like the fact that they are a family owned and operated business!
Tips & Advices
Making the trip to your local florist means you can actually get the chance to stop and smell the roses. But the hours they are open can be more restrictive.
Online flower shops, work with wholesale florists near your area to ensure they deliver your order promptly. Since cut flowers don't have a long shelf life, these Internet-based companies take your request and contract it out to a florist in your locale to design it and drop it off at your home or office. While purchasing flowers online is convenient - there are a few things the online stores cannot offer patrons. You can't smell the fragrance of flowers and you can't touch the petals or leaves before you buy the plant. Additionally, when you buy a bouquet over the Internet, you're basing your decision on a stock photo of the item instead of the actual one that will arrive at your doorstep.
Yes. These experts can tell you the best ways to take care of your plants or how to properly cut the stems of flowers to ensure they last longer in your vase. Ask them vase to use with which flower and how much water and plant food you should use to prolong the life of your bouquet or potted plant. Even though retail florists don't usually grow the blooms or plants themselves, they do know the best ways to keep your arrangement looking fresh for longer.
Flowers, especially the lotus, figure prominently in Hindu and Buddhist religious ceremonies, as well as in these two ancient religions' wedding customs. Many florists provide garlands of flowers to decorate and festoon the functions with.
Lilies, as well as daffodils and tulips, are especially popular around these spring holidays.
