Sheila African Braiding
The shop: is hot and the chairs, fixtures, and cabinets are very shabby/wobbly/full of holes. Trash cans are overflowing and hair is everywhere.Customer service: nonexistent- They speak loudly in their native language all day only to each other. They keep the tv on programs only spoken in their native language. It's not a friendly or comfortable environment.Service: poor- they twist your hair so tight and the braids still slip off the next day. I begged the stylist repeatedly not to do my edges so tightly she just kept saying sorry and insisted that I could just spray them and they will be fine. WELL the next morning they were on my pillow (the braid and my hair roots/follicles).

I had a lot of braids coming out the very next day. Braids are very poorly done and not worth the $200 they charge.

Fatu's African Braids
I had the worst experience at this shop. They require their customers to pay up front for service & now I know why. I had to have them redo several braids because they were too tight but they were too busy talking to focus on the fact that they were continuing to braid extremely too tight. At one point I had to ask for one lady to not place the hair she was braiding into my hair in her food. Her response was that she was done eating. I had to take the braids out that same night only to have 2 bald spots and an extremely sore scalp. When I called Fatu to notify her of the situation, she hung up on me. Unless you want to lose your money, time and hair, I would suggest you never step foot in this shop.

Sheila African Braiding
I would give one star just because they do great work. On the other hand the workers or Shelia isn't very friendly. The have NO customer service skills. My braids started to unravel at the root and come a loose after about a week or so. They braids or VERY tight makes it hard to lay your head and rest.(Don't understand how they come a loose). Even tho the braids are neat I will not be spending my money with them again.

Sheila African Braiding
True African braiding! I have gotten braids done at this shop four times and senegalese twist three times. Sheila and Fatima are fast and professional. Definitely worth the price. Pretty braids and twist!
