Overall I am happy, but it was quite a disjointed experience. We arrived at agreement to purchase on a Friday afternoon, and set an appointment to complete the transaction on the following day at 12:30. When I arrived, it was apparent that the dealership was not prepared, and it took 2 hours to complete what could have taken 15 minutes or less. The vehicle I purchased was a "CPO Next" vehicle, and I agreed to purchase the maintenance plan for an additional $2000. I requested written information regarding the particulars of the warranty provided by the "CPO" status, the vehicle inspection records, and the maintenance plan. None of these were available, and Oliver explained to me that I could look this up on the website. Vad called me a few days later to check in and I asked him if he could help me obtain the documentation I requested, since Oliver had not been able to. I didn't hear anything for a couple of weeks, so two days before my temporary tag was to expire I contacted Vad to ask him if he could help. He was alarmed that I had not received the documents I'd requested (explained that he'd asked the finance/operations side) and he took personal responsibility to ensure that everything was squared away. So Vad really saved the day in terms of my perspective on the quality of the business - he explained that the dealership had just moved into the new location and that everything wasn't where it was supposed to be - so things were still a bit disorganized. [I'd become quite concerned, but now feel more confident about my future relationship with the dealer - that it apparently really was just a hiccup.] Vad personally made sure that I received all of the documentation that should have been given to me at closing, and he put the new tabs on my vehicle with 24 hours to spare. I like my new MINI, and I appreciate Vad's attention to my situation once he was aware that the support system wasn't fully functional.

Cornerstone Plymouth
Customer for life! I've always knew the people at Cornerstone were fine trustworthy Christian people but my recent experience with them only cemented that view of them even more. Over Christmas of 2015, our 2008 GMC Acadia had a transmission issue while we were traveling throughout the Midwest. We limped our vehicle to a GM dealer only becasue we thought it would be covered by the GM warranty - Boy were we wrong! After three days at this competitor, they told us the problem was not warranty related and that the bill would be $2,500! needless to say I was beside myself and I took my Acadia over to Cornerstone that quoted me $1,900. After a week in the shop at Cornerstone, I got the shocking phone call from John telling us that it was, in fact, a warranty issue and they had their GM people take care of the problem - NO CHARGE!!!!!!!! These fine Christian people at cornerstone went the beyond the extra mile to ensure that we were treated as if we were one of the family. I will never not go to anyone else for my auto repair. Let's just say that there are such things as Christmas Miracles!!!!! Cornerstone is the greatest!!!!!

RJ's Auto Repair
This place has always done a good job with my families rides. Friendly and knowledgeable employees! I took my 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X There for a lot of work and they did a excellent job installing my lowering springs, cat back exhaust. The employees even installed and drilled a full carbon fiber bodykit for me as well! They do great work and are very VERY FRIENDLY. I would highly recommend this place to anyone i know. I rarely trust any shop doing body work and anything that requires changing a intake system or exhaust or lowering springs ESPECIALLY since the car is brand new and only has 12k miles on it. But i had family go to their shop in bloomington and loved it! then i started going there. Now i went to their burnsville location and it is just a good! The owner is a very very friendly and professional at what he does. He has been doing it for many years.. you can tell. My car was done quickly, the price was fair, and the extra touches were great - the employees were polite and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I brought my Clubman in on 1/3/13 because of a check engine light. I was greeted promptly and Brady took my info and got me into a loaner car, which was a huge help! On the following Monday (1/7/13), Brady let me know there were some problems with the timing chain and several other issues. He carefully explained the repairs needed and all of my options. I opted to have all of the work performed. Brady kept me up to date for the next 3 days, and I returned on Thursday 1/10/13 to pick up my car. Brady met me at the cashiers desk and went over all of the repairs that were performed, and we discussed some actions that i could take going forward to best maintain my MINI. Throughout this process Brady was courteous, professional, and empathetic. He kept me informed every step of the way, and explained everything in detail. He is a class act, and an excellent representative of Motorwerks and MINI Cooper

Midwest Car Search
I purchased my new to me 2002 Mercury sable from them., and have been very happy with my purchase. The salesman Brandon was very open to helping me find exactly what I was looking for and had me drive several cars/vans/suv's before making my decision. Scott who did the financing was more than accommodating and was very open about how it all works. He answered all my questions and gave great info. I have been back for Oil changes and to have my car serviced and they were very easy to work with. Over all if you want an experience unlike most car dealerships in the area, Midwest has easy going, helpful people and they do not judge or try and make you do anything you don't want to. They are not the least bit pushy. I have recommended to friends and family and would suggest that anyone looking for a car starts there.

Morrie's Brooklyn Park Nissan Subaru
This is the second vehicle purchased through Morries. The first was a 1995 Nissan; this time a 2013 Subaru Outback. We noticed how relaxed everyone was and that we were not pressured in any way about buying a car. Also, they did not pressure us to purchase any of the add-ons that were offered after the initial purchase. Our salesman, Andrew H, as well as everyone we met on the 3 occasions we visited, were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to get answers to all our questions. We especially appreciated the sales manager and general manager's friendly and personable interactions with us and how everyone went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our purchase. And our little cockapoo was welcomed by everyone. We highly recommend shopping for your next car at Morries in Brooklyn Park, MN.

I did not have a good experience yesterday. Appointment to replace 4 tires was scheduled for 12:35pm. I had talk to a service rep the previous week and ordered 4 new tires (Dunlaps'). I arrived for my appointment at approx. 12:20pm. It took 3 hours to get the tires mounted and an alignment. I find this unacceptable. When my car was done, i was directed to the cashier. Upon paying, i realized the total was less than i expected but did not question it because i was running behing to pick my kids up from school. Once i got home, I inspected the tires and realized the tires i ordered were not put on my car (Continentals'). These are the tires I just replaced and were not very happy with them....hence the change. I will keep them but will consider other options when the time comes to replace these tires.

Pep Boys Auto Parts & Service
I rarely post customer reviews, but my experience was awful. The three men at the front desk managed to lose clearly had no interest in helping me. The man who worked with me was disheveled, apathetic to assisting me, and his overall customer service was just awful. I felt that two and a half hours was a bit too long for tire installation and an oil change so I asked for a status update on my car and the second gentleman (who was always snacking or drinking a soda each time I looked up at the front desk) managed to lose my paperwork. Had I not asked for a status update I would have remained sitting in the waiting room. This does not surprise me as I was simply a customer sitting in the waiting room based on how I was treated. I will not be coming back.

Cities Auto Sales
I had the best experience buying a car. My car salesmen was Tom and wow what a breathe of fresh air. I've been car shopping for a little over a month now and it has not been too fun. I'm a young woman shopping alone so in the car buying biz that means I'm a red target for any dealer or shark as I like to call them. And they always assume a female knows nothing and they can pull a fast one. tom was quite the opposite he got me approved for financing immediately and his honest and realistic approach got the right car for me!!! Then he drove my car around back to the shop where Dan showed me where everything was under the hood n topped off all my fluids and educated me a bit more. Soooo happy!!! Thanks guys!!!

The heat didn't work in my car. I also mentioned the brakes squeak. I was given a very nice loaner car. I really appreciated that. I was also told about other service my car needed, like new tires. While I appreciated knowing that, I was pushed a little too much to buy four new tires now because of a sale. I was there to get the heat fixed, an absolute necessity, (and a warranty covered item) not spend another $1,000.00 on other stuff. Also, the brakes still squeak. I was told it's a common problem but that really bothers me. It's embarrassing to me to have a car with squeaking brakes. Maybe it's a design flaw I don't know but I don't like it.
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
