2.Abbott Northwestern Hospital

This Allina Abbot Northwestern Hospital, Dr. Tor Aasheim and their associates had me in their care for ""routine"" gall bladder surgery. When after surgery I started expeiencing horriffic pain in my stomach and was readmitted to the hospital their were times they left me sitting in vomit for over 40 minutes and then sitting in my underware and a blanket, hooked up to IVswhile my bed sat without sheets and coverings for another 30 minutes.at a time. When I asked to speak to a patient representative the environment became even more hostile. From there they decreased pain management for a as of yet undiagnosed side affect of surgery. I am in constant burning pain under my ribcage, vomit when I eat or drink ANYTHING and that which makes it through turns to diarrhea. As soon as they did not have a quick answer they started claiming it was due to me getting myself upset. They started treating me with anti anxiety psychiatric medication and then with muscle spasm medication verbally claiming that this could be muscle in my back. Not a burning in my gut that feels like acid. Beware this hospital and doctors. They do a great job on the general day to day but have no ability or desire to follow through if the problem becomes greater than routine cut em, give em a 7 Up and tylenol and send them a bill. \r

I switched to Dr. Colon when my depression didn't get better after years of treatment. I chose him because he's always at the top of published surveys (of other doctors) as one of the best psychiatrists in the Twin Cities. \r \r Dr. Colon never rushes our appointments and his assistant returns calls promptly and can arrange for adjustments in medication.
