YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

1.Village Hair Co
5003 34th Ave S
I have been to Village twice for an all-over color and a haircut with Kara. I agree with a previous reviewer that Kara is wonderful. She has a gentle, friendly, and thoughtful personality and asks all the right questions about my hair. In addition, she exhibits excellent technical skill and knowledge. She also demonstrates great knowledge of Aveda products, but I never feel pressured by an up-sell. If you're looking for someone who really listens and consistently performs extremely well, I highly recommend Kara.

I was tired of the big corporate salons and decided to try this salon on high recommendation from a friend (and she had the cutest haircut I have ever seen!). I am so glad I did. I got a same day appointment, on a Saturday, and Bridget was so patient with me (as I tend to walk in not having a clue what I want done!) I came out with a super cute cut and a great color, and for much less that I have paid in the past. I loved the funky, laid-back atmosphere and the small, personal feel. I will definitely be back!

We love the new location! Such a convenience to walk across the street instead of driving across town. The shop is located on the skyway level, across from the Working Family Center. Near the Court house & Crowne Plaza hotel. Just above Kinder care on 4th & Cedar St.\r \r Brookside Barbers2 is very clean & professional. Many hair care products available. They cut all hair types, and are skilled in many styles. They also perform razor work apon request. As well as, shoulder massages if desired. \r \r *Just two blocks from Kellogg Square Apartments\r
4.Shear Trends Hair Design
109 S 7th St Ste 200
I am not the type to go to salons regularly, in fact- I am the type to run over to Great Clips on my lunch break and let them hack away at my hair just to get it neater... well- I am tired of not ever being able to do much with my hair. I called on a whim (I had just past Shear Trends on my way back from the bank) and decided to give it a whirl. I was set up with Lynne. Lynne had confidence and was so friendly that there was no uncertainty- I told her what I needed- what I'd like it to do- I mean very minimal instruction and she gave her suggestions and went to work. I came out with the BEST haircut I EVER had.. it's soft, feminine and easy maintainence.. when I got back to work- everyone noticed immeditatley and I rec'd a ton of compliments. The hair cut was $30.00... came with shampoo/conditioner, the cut, and styled... I am so pleased that this will be my new salon- and Lynne my new stylist. WORTH IT...

I have been getting my hair foiled and cut for years by Jayson. He truely is a gem! You don't have to worry about high salon prices and you get an even better result for your money. When you walk in, don't expect the Taj Mahal. But if you like neat, eclectic stores where the owner does it all, Lyn-Lake Barbers is the place to go!

9.Nate's Barber Shop
9416 36th Ave N
Guy and kid friendly old style barber shop. Nothing fancy. Just a good haircut at a very reasonable price. They are in New Hope (not Minneapolis as the address states) right on Hwy 169 and 36th Ave. Nate has been there for several years now. Nice guy who runs a great business. Great cut at a great price!

I've been seeing Julie R. at Hair by Hughes for a little over a year now. She is fantastic! She works magic on my color, warranting touchups only every 4 months or so - I don't know how she does it, but the color fades and grows out perfectly. \r \r Hair by Hughes moved to a new location recently- the new space is beautiful. For being in the middle of Blaine, it's very chic. In addition to hair services, they also do manicures, pedicures, facials and massage.

I brought my 3 year old son in to get a "buzz". They took him right away, the stylist was very good with him. Each station has their own tv, so my son got to watch racing while she cut his hair. Took about 15 minutes, the cut was what I had asked for. Great place and I will go again, especially since I have another coupon!
13.Copes Barber Shop
1301 Mississippi St NE Ste 1
If you have a few hours to spare and like a lot of conversation, Copes is an excellent barber shop. It is a one man shop. Copes barbers and talks, but not at the same time. He pauses between clips to emphasize a point in his discussion, then continues to clip again. Siting in Cope's barber chair is like watching a life time movie.
14.Paul's Barber Shop
1250 126th Ln NE
I have been seeing Paul for fifteen years now and i can tell you that no other barber shop compares. As soon as you walk into the door the three barbers are friendly and give great haircuts. With decently low prices you can expect to have a great hair cut. These guys really know what they are doing!

What a joke! I went in today looking for a shave and a haircut. The lady at the front desk told me that they didn't have a barber there to do the shave and that I could come back at 6:00... I was in there at 2:30! The "manager" guy came up and was super rude. I tried explaining that I was pissed that on their website it lists thier services and that walk-ins are welcome, but yet when I walked in the services were not availible. His answer? "You can't expect us to have a barber here 24/7!" Uhhh... You are a friggin barber shop! what the heck else would I expect, a tax attorney? I tried to tell him that they should indicate to call ahead for shaves so people don't come from a half hour away, pay for a meter, just to find out that they can't help you. He rudely told me they won't list things like that on the website. Um, why not? Put a little asterisk next to the shave service you listed and put in small font "call ahead" or something. He didn't care one bit. He was just a pompus arrogant jerk. I will take my 60 bucks elsewhere and reccomend you do too.
