2nd Life Home Repair & Remodeling Services LLC
First visit went well.Received the estimate.I missed reading an important part and called stating it had been omitted and I did not wish to continue with them. I never heard back from him that it WAS INCLUDED. My bad mistake.Much later still not having fixed my bathroom yet and not finding an interesting new company to pursue I reread his original estimate and saw the part I told him I was missing. I called and immediately said I had been wrong and over and over apologized. His wife set up a new time for me to get a new estimate for remodeling a lot more in the same bathroom. He arrived promptly. Left saying it would be about two weeks before I might receive this estimate. Fine..no problem and thank you so very much for returning. It has been more months than I can count and NEVER received it. I was patient but soon I realized I could not have him work in my house for several reasons that are quite important to me.1) He choose to sit on top of my closed toilet seat leaving behind an almost permanent sticky residue. Even tho the majority eventually has been successfully cleaned off a bit is permanent. Who just sits on top of your personal toilet??2) While measuring distances throughout the room his metal tape measure seemed to be crashing into many things. Perhaps he was speed measuring but I need care and controlwhile watching him.3) Upon leaving my home he removed workers footies he had put on at my request and proceeded to step right on the nearby area rug with his shoes that I was interested in keeping no outside shoes in the house,please.4) Upon leaving the storm door seemed swollen and he kicked the bottom to open it.NO THANK YOU. I care about my home.No-one is going to come in here with those characteristics.I am picky. He didn't meet my qualifications.Glad because of these issues he never submitted his second estimate.

YSDA Home Improvements
I like working with them, the 2nd project went great as did the first project. The price is about 25% lower than others, I had one bid actually double theirs. My wife is very happy.

Retro Home Services
Horrible service. Jay the "owner" is one of the least competent and untrustworthy people I have ever met. DO NOT CALL

Nu-Way Builders
I had the pleasure of working with Craig and his company replacing my aluminum siding. Craig not only came in thousands of dollars lower than the other quotes with similar products, he was the one that you did not feel like "what have I gotten into"Throughout the entire process, he was great at communication, great with ideas and feedback and the craftsmanship was superior. I am completely satisfied and when it comes to replacing windows in coming years will be looking to Craig and Nu Way again. Before and after pictures http://imgur.com/a/RSXiU
Tips & Advices
Water leakage is usually caused by a blockage of the defrost drain by food or debris. The ensuing overflow can leak inside the refrigerator or outside. This problem is often an easy DIY fix--just clean the debris away. If you cannot locate it, it could be a clog of the system and might require a technician.
The most common cause of a refrigerator running is a faulty seal, usually on the door, allowing a constant flow of warm, humid air into the unit. To combat the warm air, the refrigerator’s cooling system kicks in and might stay on. This can cause strain on the cooling unit, not to mention higher utility bills.
The most common reason an ice maker stops making ice is a faulty water supply line. The most likely culprits are the supply line being frozen, broken, disconnected, or the filter being clogged, which prevents water from passing through.
The most common refrigerator maintenance issue is the most obvious: The refrigerator isn’t cold enough. Next is a faulty ice maker, the refrigerator not functioning at all, the unit is making strange noises, and the dispenser units are not dispensing water and/or ice.
Frost buildup in the freezer is a result of warm, humid air entering the freezer and then freezing. It could be as simple as frequent opening and closing of the door, or a faulty door seal allowing air to flow in. If those are not the issues, the automatic defrost system might be malfunctioning and require servicing.
