Acacia Clinic
Acacia saved my life. I suffered, like many of us do, from Opiate addiction. I struggled with prescription pain killers for over 3 years...finally hit rock bottom. My wife actually set the initial appointment up, and I arrived at Acacia on new years eve. Since that day, my life has changed. They immediately put me into therapy and gave me suboxone. From that day, I never looked back. I can NOT put into words the gratitude my family and I have for the wonderful group of doctors and therapists that have went above and beyond to ensure I was not alone during my recovery. I would never recommend any other place for help with addiction. We all know you have to really want to be sober, and if that sounds like you then Acacia will save your life. I rate them AAA+

American Behavioral Clinics
Excellent care, but patients should not be shouted for: practitioners should come to the waiting room. There should not be 8-9 minute waits for one's phone call to be answered. There should be Saturday hours, skipping a weekday, to accommodate those patients with multiple jobs, disabilities requiring others to drive them, and a less harried day for all concerned, and therefore, a more productive one.Water bottles are given in shops: why not in a health facility?Care should be taken that the dosage on a bottle matches real time advice by the doctors.Overall, excellent esprit de corps, but some fine tuning would be appreciated. Why are the preponderance of patients women: because Men are driving us nuts.

Samaritan Family Wellness Foundation
This place is great. I was dealing with sick and aging parents, raising 3 children, a full time job, marital stress, and a general feeling of being completely overwhelmed. I called Samaritan for help and was so impressed with the therapist I worked with. I am happy to say I am now centered and enjoying life again! The advice I received was honest, perceptive and extremely helpful. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

Servant Manor Inc
Servant Manor maybe a great group home, yet as far as a good employment opportunity, you're expected to pay for your own TB test and are requested to get a physical before you find out you have the job.How do you get that money back if you're not hired?Just putting that out there the requedt is given without resources on reasonably priced healthcare organizations

Project Access Inc
When my brother went missing on Thanksgiving 2015 and the staff did everything they could to help find him. I really appreciate all the support - We need more agencies like Project Access to help persons with mental health issues. Thank you everyone!

Raymond W Moy
He is a great doctor, i have been seeing him for over 15 years. He and his staff are totally wonderful, and very helpful. Although since he has been seeing more psychiatric patients, some can be very nasty to the staff, and I feel bad for them.

Tips & Advices
A child psychiatrist is a medical doctor who specializes in issues that affect the mental and emotional health of children and teens. Child psychiatrists can provide treatment for children and teenagers who suffer from depression, autism, anxiety disorders, attention disorders, drug addictions, eating disorders, mood disorders, and a wide range of behavioral problems.
Psychiatrists typically ask questions that focus  on the issues that are having a negative effect on your life. In an initial visit with a psychiatrist, you may be asked about symptoms you've experienced, and ways in which you've tried to deal with them. You might be asked about current and past medical conditions, as well asa family health history.
A referral is an authorization from your doctor saying that a certain type of treatment is medically necessary, and it's usually required if you want your insurance company to cover the costs associated with a visit to a psychiatrist. If you don't have insurance, a referral is not required to schedule a psychiatrist visit.
Psychiatrists and psychologists sometimes collaborate, and this typically takes place when working with patients who have serious mental health problems. In cases like this, a psychologist will treat the patient from a behavioral perspective. A psychiatrist will complement this treatment with care that handles issues concerning biology, neurology, and the prescription of drugs.
Many psychiatrists specialize in treating certain conditions. Some psychiatrists focus on substance abuse therapy, and this is the treatment of addiction to substances like alcohol, narcotics, and tobacco. Others specialize in biological psychiatry, which is the treatment of brain chemistry disorders like depression and schizophrenia. Psychiatrists might also specialize in treating elderly patients or children and adolescents.
