I REPRESENT THE REPAIR FACILITY AND WOULD LIKE TO RESPOND TO JOHN D.THE RV IN QUESTION IS A 1978 DODGE RV. CUSTOMER NEVER CONTACTED US WITH ANY COMPLAINTS. WHEN ANY RV COMES IN WE TELL THEM IT WILL TAKE A FEW DAYS TO GET THEM IN AND THEN TIME TO REPAIR. WHEN IT CAME IN HE HAD A RUNNING PROBLEM, BRAKING PROBLEM, AND A STEERING PROBLEM. AFTER CHECKING RV OVER WE FOUND THE THERMOSTATIC CHOKE ON THE CARB DAMAGED AND DISSCONNECTED, AND A CHOKE CABLE HAD BEEN INSTALLED. THE CABLE WAS BROKEN. ADVISED CUSTOMER THAT WHAT WE SHOULD GO BACK TO STOCK ELECTRIC THERMOSTAT INSTEAD OF THE CABLE BUT CUSTOMER DECINED. JUST FIXING THE CHOKE WILL NOT MAKE THE ENGINE RUN BETTER WITHOUT REPAIRING THE ARCHING PLUG WIRES AND A COMPLETE TUNE-UP. ON THE STEERING WE FOUND IDLER AND PITMAN BAD AND WORN BALL-JOINTS. THE WORST PROBLEM OF ALL, WE FOUND THE MASTER CYL BAD CAUSING THE BRAKES TO ENGAUGE ALL THE TIME. TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE RV AROUND WE HAD TO BLEED BRAKE MASTER EVERY TIME WE HAD TO MOVE IT. ADVISED CUSTOMER OF PROBLEMS AND AT HIS REQUEST ALL HE COULD AFFORD WAS THE REPAIR OF THE CHOKE AND CABLE. WE REPAIRED WHAT WE WERE TOLD HE COULD AFFORD AND THAT AND INFORMED HIM OF PRICE BEFORE REPAIR. WE ALSO ADVISED CUSTOMER THE VEHICLE WAS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE!!! ALL OF OUR WORK HAS A 24 MONTH 24,000 MILE WARRANTY ON WHAT WE REPAIR.

Glen's Auto & Diesel Inc
I've been coming to Glen's for several years now, I was recommend by a friend after having a horrible mechanic rip me off and cause more problems with my car then before it had gone in. Glen's has always been a good experience, all of the repairs made by his shop have not had any issues. He always calls with an estimate before he does any work and his estimates are always close, I'm never surprised with a ridiculous bill! Such a great feeling, and he always walks me through the bill and everything that was done to my car, I really appreciate that I can call and talk to Glen and get my car in right away. I've had minor things done like oil changes and brakes, but I've also had bigger repairs done, like injectors and a head gasket repair. I've never been disappointed with the work done here, always done quickly, and with quality parts. I will continue to bring all our cars here and recommend anyone I know. All the people I have recommended to come here say great things about their experience with this company.

Alex's Autohaus
Also a Haven for Land Rover Owners!I have taken my Land Rover Discovery II to Alex on a recommendation many times now. For the many issues the vehicle has often had Alex and his staff not only provided quick and professional service and repair at very reasonable rates, but also took the time to explain the issues in an understandable manner while also providing me good maintenance tips for day to day. Alex and his staff are courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. I have only had good experiences with this shop compared to his competitors elsewhere in Utah. I would safely recommend anyone to take their vehicle to Alex's Autohaus. Sehr gut!

Alex's Autohaus
Just took my 2005 Audi A4 in for an oil service and an APR tune. What a fantastic experience. These guys were super knowledgeable and explained all of my performance options as well as what maintenance I should be expecting as this car is new to me. I love the extra power and dealing with these guys was great.

Union Service
I have taken both my cars down to this auto shop and have never had any problems. The mechanics have fixed my cars quickly, and the prices for their work are way better than the shops I've used before.

Max Auto Shop
Went in to get my water pump and tires replaced and they also replaced my brake pads without asking and charged me up the ass for it. Not happy.
Tips & Advices
A capacitor is a two-terminal electrical component that is able to store energy, thus they are often found in power supplies. They can be especially important in a stereo system because they can exhibit frequency dependent behavior. What this means is they can be tailored to be used as noise filters to reduce the appearance of a frequency, or they can be used to enhance it. This is particularly effective in differentiating and isolating the ranges in a subwoofer and a tweeter, and in filtering out the potential noise or feedback from the power source.
Most aftermarket speakers are compatible with your factory stereo system. There can be exceptions, for instance, if you have speakers that need extra amplification to drive them to maximum performance, such as large subwoofers, your factory deck may not have the power to drive them adequately. They will play, but not to their potential. Basic speakers should be able to plug right into most standard decks. Factory stereo systems have evolved dramatically over the years and can even meet or exceed aftermarket products.
To install a basic car stereo you will need a minimum of tools. First you may need a puller to remove the existing deck (if there is one). Usually it’s just a thin bar that hooks onto the unit to pull it out. Once the unit space is established, you will need crimpers and wire cutters to strip, connect, and crimp the wiring units (to the speakers and to your power source). It’s a good idea to use connectors for the wiring contacts. It is a simple and basic process. In some cases, you might need some additional basic tools like screwdrivers if you are mounting anything or customizing the dash.
With a basic knowledge and minimum of tools, it is not theoretically difficult to install a car stereo. It is even easier is you are replacing the old deck because the wiring for the speakers and the power source are already in place. Most existing units can be pulled easily from the dash and replaced quickly. This of course depends on the sophistication of the system and the skill of the installer. If no modifications are necessary, it is not an overly difficult or complicated process. There are many sources of information and instructional videos available on the internet to guide you.
A subwoofer is a speaker that is designed to produce sounds on the low end of the audio scale. Subwoofers are usually paired with tweeters, speakers that produce sounds on the higher end of the audio scale, to create a balanced sound.
