Wag N Tail Pet Resort
I would like to say how disappointed I am in Wag N Tail Pet Resort. A few days ago when I left my dog there she was so skiddish when in picked her up she was afraid as if she had been beat or abused.some of her stuff reaked of urine and smelt some smelt like smoke. I do not know what happened but this place at one point was the best place around. When it was sold it went downhill. They can't even keep employees they keep changing ,they had a few good ones now they have people in just do not feel comfortable with at all. I will never be back. Go judge for yourself before you leave your dog, then you will understand why I said my review.

Caralot Kennel & Training Center
Caralot Kennel is the only place I will board my dogs. The owner and her staff are so friendly and really inviting. Before I found Caralot I would board my dog and she would be pulling and tugging on her leash to get back to me. She would lose weight because she would barely eat the whole time I was gone. It always ruined my trip because I was so worried about her. But now when we walk into Caralot she is full of wags and wiggles. She loves it there and feels at home. I'm able to pack her blanket, bed and a toy and I feel that this helps comfort her. And she always finishes her breakfast and dinner! She never looks back when I hand her over to Cindy, kind of makes me sad! LOL But I know that she feels safe and at home there and that is why I will always use Caralot Kennels.

Caralot Kennel & Training Center
We use Caralot Kennel for our 3 dogs and have been very satisfied with the care they receive each time.Cindy is very knowledgeable regarding the care and treatment of dogs, demonstrates warmth and professionalism, and readily shares valuable tips on canine health and behavior. Our dogs are returned to us in excellent condition. Initially, our German Shepherd was anxious with separation but he quickly adjusted and now shows absolutely no anxiety when we arrive at the facility. We recommend Caralot!

Claws & Paws Pet Motel
I've been taking my 2 dogs to Pat at Claws and Paws for over 3 years. The facilities are very clean and up-to-date. She cares for the dogs in a very warm and professional manner. My dogs are always anxious to get out of the car and run up to the door when we pull up to drop them off. She takes really good care of them.
Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
