Service is great but ever since they put in their new accounting system, billing has been a disaster. My wife had a running balance she was paying down monthly and each time I went there (every 3 months) I asked if we were still cool. Each time they stated, no problem. Then out of nowhere they called, cancelled any appointments and said we cannot go again until the bill is paid. Also after they put in their new billing/accounting system, each time I went there over a 6 month period, they kept "finding charges my medical did not pick up or were unpaid from their old accounting system and I needed to pay on the spot". Me being a Finance guy I finally told them to stick with the dental practice and hope no one in the office decides to go into the Financial Industry". I will continue to work to resolve this matter as the dentists and hygienists are awesome but I cannot give that same rating to the Accounting Department

Cornerstone Dental
I had been looking for a dentist for a few years, but after many bad experiences took a little too long shopping around. I have trouble getting numb due to a connective tissue disorder so have avoided the dentist for fear of the pain should I need any type of procedure. I finally broke a tooth and could not longer avoid going. After researching reviews of the local dentists, it seemed Dr. Littner and staff could give me could care and keep me at ease. Sure enough, they are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. My initial anxieties subsided rather quickly and Dr. Littner was able to masterfully numb my roots and keep me numb throughout the procedure. I would recommend this office to anyone, especially if you have some dental anxieties or issues with being numbed. I have found my new dental "home".

Taub Lenard H DDS
I have been going to Dr Taub for many years because not only is he an excellent dentist, Dr Taub and his wonderful staff treats me like family. When I first met Dr Taub I told him I haven't been to a dentist in years because they make me nervous, but Dr Taub makes me feel calm and relaxed and I always have a pleasant experience. His staff is pleasant and caring, and because of his wonderful assistant I have never missed a appointment she always gives me a reminder call. If you need a dentist give Dr Taub a call.

I went to 2 other dentists before seeing Dr. Horowitz and I feel lucky that I found him. He diagnosed the problem I was having quickly and did not try to sell me on procedures that I did not need. The other dentists I went to were salesmen more than dentists! If you want someone who is honest and cares - you won't be disappointed. His office is nice and clean and staff is friendly. Hygienist is really good too!

Taub Lenard H DDS
I've been a long time patient of Dr. Taub and for good reasons. He is very professional and at the same time takes the time to get to know his patient. One thing I greatly appreciate about him and his office is their willingness to find the earliest appointment possible when I've needed urgent tooth care. I highly recommend Dr. Taub, he has always taken great care of all my dental needs.

Edward Reich DDS
What a compassionate man. I went to Dr. Edward Reich to repair the mess that Middletown Dental Group Bert Crawford Rd. charged me $2600 for. Dr. Reich @ 210 E. Main St. Middletown, NY did not charge me for his service. I wish I had gone to him originally.

Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
