Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting
MAACO 12250 SW 117 CT MIAMI FL 33186. Terrible!! I leave my car, a toyota rav4 2016 on July 31, 2017. The repair consisted of changing the front bumper, the right fender. They promised they could do the perfect job in 5 business days after Geico's adjuster passed. The first problem was that instead of negotiating with Geico the replacement of a new bumper told me that Geico was not going to pay a new bumper just the repair and it was not going to look good. I paid them apart from my deductible to buy a genuine toyota bumper. On August 2, according to Eduardo, they were already mounting the bumper. The day 19 tells Eduardo that the only work pending was to polish the paint but it was not true the bumper does not fit correctly with the fenders. They told me Eduardo and Luis that Tuesday would be, but they did not call. Today 24 I went to the workshop and it is exactly the same as a week ago what now say that the fender that Geico pay does not serve and that they have to put another but it is not true because they do not call Geico. Probably the bumper and fence are the cheapest and the worst quality possible, not the genuine bumper that I pay or the fender that Geico was agree to pay. We’re beginning again. In the meantime I'm paying a rental car, it's been 3 weeks. Neither of these guys has a shame, they look like they are doing me a favor but also they don’t like too much. They’re trying to tire me out and charge me for a crappy job.(SEE PICTURE)

Reglo Paint & Body Shop
They are horrible place! I pray that my car is fixed better than their timeframe. I see that they tell everyone two weeks and take triple the time. They literally waited until all the insurance money was in and then decided to fix my car. I will never recommend them to anyone not even my enemy!!! Go to a real auto collision/body shop! Not this lying place!!

High Level Inc
I'll start off by saying I'm not related to nor did I know anyone at high level prior to my visit. This is important to mention as I thought it when reading the reviews. My 2009 E350 just stopped driving. Dash indicated it was in drive and felt like neutral. Long story short had it towed in and prepared for the worse ($2-3k). I was told I'd receive a call by the end of the day. Instead I got a call within the hour stating it was a simple fix ($125) and could pick up shortly. I'm truly amazed and appreciative that genuine people and business still do exist in Miami. Thank you Ruben, and all the staff at High Level Inc. You've got a new customer for life.

Auto Tech Collision
This past January 2017 took my Honda Pilot 2014, to 12946 sw 87 Ave., telephone number 305 259 8915 , Auto Tech Collision and dealt with Cesar Guzman, Manager. The reason I am being specific, is because it seems that this business was under different management, with some not so good reviews. However, My experience was very pleasant :My car came out looking like it was out of the showroom. It was done on time, promised when I dropped it off. Mr. Guzman was professional, kind and accommodating. Based on all of the above, i recommend this facility.

This place is the worst, dirty, unprofessional and outdated! The owners name Juan and his son they are very rude and unprofessional! People stay away from this guys or your car would never run right again! If you trying to save some money there's plenty body shops out there willing to get your ride back to you without the hassle of dealing with these PIMPS! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
