julios sliding glass door repair
I was very impressed with the knowledge, expertise, competence and professionalism of this company. They replaced screens, installed new rollers on the bottom of sliding glass doors, installed bumpers on the doors, replaced some cracked window panes. All the work was beautifully done with a sincere desire to please the customer. The prices were fair. This is a hardworking and honest company. I highly recommend this enterprise. You will becompletely pleased and satisfied.

Sunset Screens & Repairs
Completely unprofessional. I called and spoke with Gladys and asked for a quote. I decided to use their services because their price was fair. I called back the same day and Gladys was not available. Danny advised that Gladys would send it via email by end of day. I never received it, called back the following afternoon and Danny said he would send it now. Called later that afternoon and left a message. I never received the quote via email or got a call back. If you are unable to do something just say so, instead of wasting someone's time who is trying to pay you to service them.

Hurricane Window & Screen
This has been the worst experience of my life. We were told 2 weeks to complete the job . It's now going on 8 weeks and our home isn't finished. Wrong windows were delivered on the first delivery and the second time when the windows were delivered they ripped out our 18 ft x 13 ft back wall of windows and found out they had measured the Windows incorrectly .. the back of our home was a plywood wall for four weeks. The job still hasn't been completed and it's been going on 8 weeks. Nothing but lies and horrible service. Today again lied to about windows being installed. A lot of money to spend on shitty workmanship also .. In 8 weeks the installation Forman hasn't been here to see the crappy work being done .. Editted UPDATE > > It's now been 13 weeks / the front doors are still not right , the Windows failed inspection 4 times due to not having photos of clips . The foreman has only been here twice in 13 weeks and we don't like his demeanor and I will not ever allowed him in our home again . Tomorrow there's another inspection . They had no photos of the clips and finally got them from the person that took them . He was in jail so they weren't able to get the photos off his phone . This company sucks . . Any positive reviews you read online were most likely posted my friends , family or someone who works for the company. After dealing with this company for five months and installation taking three months finally passed inspection. Took five times for the city to come out to finalize. Still The front doors are not installed properly so I will hire someone to finish the job correctly. Also none of the windows were ever cleaned I will have to hire a company to clean the windows. Torn weather stripping on the front doors and kitchen French doors , side yard is dead from them putting all the windows and 76 pieces on the side of my house, back porch is stained, wood floors need to be polished . The list of things that are wrong with this company is long . Don't hire them

They did a great job with the Impact Windows. The work was magnificent and done on time. Very happy with their excellent work!
Tips & Advices
Basic screen-door fixes can be pretty cheap, and most can be DIY fixes. Replacing a door closer can cost less than $15. Door hinges and latches are usually less than $10, unless you are getting really fancy. You’ll probably only need a basic screwdriver and possibly some screws or shims. Replacing the mesh can be more difficult, so weigh the value of mesh replacement vs. full door replacement when considering the actual screen replacement.
Screen door installation, for a standard swinging door (not a sliding screen), is relatively inexpensive. Depending on your area, expect to pay $50-$100 for installation costs. The doors themselves are usually inexpensive and can be as low as $40 (beware of the quality). If you are handy around the house, installing a screen door can be a great DIY opportunity.
A screen-door closer, or a pneumatic cylinder, is a device connecting the screen door to the door jamb. It is usually located at the top of the door and is designed to close the screen door automatically after opening. They can be easily adjusted to quicken or slow the door’s closing speed.
To stop a screen door from slamming shut, adjust the door closer, usually located at the top of the door. There is a cylinder inside the door closer that controls how fast or slow the door closes, and it is usually adjustable with a simple screw driver. If adjusting makes no difference, the door closer might be faulty and need replacing – a low-cost DIY project that requires minimal time and tools.
The most common cause of a sagging screen door is loose or worn hinge screws that attach the screen to the door frame. If they are loose, you can tighten them yourself. A loose latch between the door and the door frame is also a common cause of sagging. Again, check the screws and tighten them up if they’re loose.
